All Demon fans should be banding together against outside forces. If we win the battle there will be plenty of time later to sort out internal bickering.

I agree he is a future long term player for the Dees, even so he should not be getting a game if his form doesn't warrant it. If Rodan is a better option we should be playing him. Enough of giving games to players who do not deserve them. Anyone at the club should only get a game when they are the best option at the given time. Make them earn a place in the team, we have already set back the careers of many of our young players by making things too easy for them.

Not if they were unwilling to pay him what we were paying him. Your $100 becomes the difference between what they pay him and what we pay him. This is exactly what we are doing but getting pick 88 as well.

I'm interested in why Morton would have allowed us to cancel his contract without paying him out. I thought if you had a contract you could only terminate the contract by paying out for the full period. If we delisted him I think we would be paying for him next year anyway.

Although I can't say I agree with everything Neeld has done during this trading period, I can see at least some semblance of a plan missing in recent years. Jose, liked your comments about incoming players(especiallyPederson), if some of the players offloaded had had a similar attitude they would still be Melbourne players. Only time is going to tell if we are on the right track or not, but it was obvious the one we were on was taking us nowhere.

The more I see of NN the more unimpressed I become. Flies around looking spectacular and doing FA. When he gets the ball kicks & handballs without looking. (occasionally flukes a kick to a teammate) Showed last night that a top class ruckman will outthink & outplay him. Flattrack bully.

In pre season training he was taking marks against Clark, Frawley & Jamar. I think he is capable but needs plenty of confidence to succeed.

Didn't see the game on Sunday, but I would have thought 23 disposals at 70% efficiency was not all that bad. Some improvement obviously needed in this area but not the worst in the team surely.

This guy is amazing not only did he know to sign up 12 months early he also could forsee Neeld being coach of Melbourne in 2012. That's some brain power.
