Not at all. I agree entirely with the coaching staff requiring that all players can perform for the whole of a game. I am sure when completely fit Kent will get his chance as will other players gaining fitness at Casey.

Played at Casey on the weekend. I would say that the coaching staff believe he needs more match fitness before a seniors berth. Seems fitness and match practise are a prerequisite of playing in the seniors this year.

Out at Casey yesterday the only players who looked ready and match fit were Gawn and Blease. Salem looked good in patches but needs more development. The rest looked like they needed more game time to be match ready.

Played well for 4 quarters this afternoon at Casey. Broke lines , tackled and chased better than I have seen before. Also for once handed off the ball when appropriate rather than trying to do too much and getting caught. One of three players who I thought showed enough to warrant selection next week. The other two being Maxy Gawn and Nev Jetta. Most of the other Melbourne players looked either underdone or requiring more development.

In 1976 Demons beat Collingwood in the last game but missed out on the finals because Footscray drew with Carlton when we needed Carlton to win. Only good thing was that Collingwood received the wooden spoon.

One other possibility is that he misinterpreted the umpires call of "play on" in his ear as the ball was kicked. Thinking the mark would not be paid he knocked the ball to advantage. I guess the only person who really knows is Pedersen himself.

Like. Roos seems to think that the 1st year players are there to learn and that any games played will be a bonus. Some on here think that Toumpas should have been a star in his 1st year. Give the kid some time.

Obviously the optimism for a improved season shown on Demonland is not shared by the betting fraternity.

Firstly the post was intended to be tongue in cheek following on from people complaining about spelling mistakes and secondly I am not an expert in language and would never put myself forward as one.

In true terms FCS is not an acronym but an initialism. An acronym needs to be pronounceable as a word. Eg QANTAS. As all things in the English language this will probably change due to continuous misuse of the term.

Interesting that he has Viv Mitchie in his other cheapie a list along with Jesse Hogan.

Still it's more encouraging that they are unhappy to lose him rather than being a spud they want to get rid of . What worries me most is how bad his leg is and how long before we see him on the park. Could be another who won't get a decent pre season.
