He's had a bad year and a bit... ...but the kid can play. Glandular didn't help at the start of this year and the gambling thing is also an issue. I like Terry Wallace's take when talking about him under pressure. He said the most pressure in a game is the first 15 minutes of a GF. Stephenson kicked 2 goals in the opening 2 minutes.

Caleb is an exceptional footballer, he was a ball magnet at junior level and great decision maker. Things he has carried through to senior level but I still think he is there to be exposed at his height if a team plays him right.

Was just writing this when you posted...in total agreement 'george'... Some decisions are made for cultural reasons. We can remember the discontent caused by the decision to flick Junior out of the club... I'm happy for Jones to stay on...he may not play a lot of senior footy if any but he will be a valuable contributor.

Sure made me laugh...that was Gus. He is a Penrith premiership coach, so no bias there. The decision that went against Storm to kick start the Panthers back into the game must have been an absolute howler from the video ref as even with the bias none of the commentators thought it was a try. In fact they couldn't believe it. I reckon the Vic hater that runs the comp must have called it to get the game back up and running, the product was looking pretty ordinary up until then.

As for Danger...the danger signs for him were there in the Prelim. That fake stony faced look after the game instead of joining in the joy of winning, of getting through to the GF. The all about me moment... It was nearly like the classic Crow's fake power stance. ...and he got the same result. He played as if it was all about him. There was no team in Dangerfield.

Comment from someone with no idea....or just taking the p...? The first movement was to punch the ball the 2nd movement was a direct elbow into the face of V... High contact, high impact. This is a 4 game penalty (ANB) plus GF loading of 2 weeks. Will probably get off with the mates clause...

Sometimes you've got to pick your mark... Last year was a no brainer to trade Daniher and Oratzio...dumb move to keep 2 injury prone players who didn't want to be there. This year with a new broom, a player that does get on the ground and performs at a consistently high level...best to try turn him around unless you get a crazy, crazy deal offered. He's at their club and they're in the box seat. Over to you EFC.

I think they will be lucky to make the 8 next year... I guess I'm massively underrating them...let's check in around September 2021 and see how I go.

I'm not sold on Brown, I think it's more important for us now to sign Jackson to a longer contract. The pairing of him and Weid worked. Then spend some more capital on another wingman and quick classy forward.
