Eddie would go into convulsions...not a bad thing though. Daicos has certainly come on a bit this year, thought at first he was name value only but can play.

Petty could take that tall defender spot. Will add that Tomlinson has been ok...an upgrade on Oscar. Spending on a KPF would be a waste, agree. As you posted before Weid has been pretty good in his games back but missed Jackson toward the end...all the KPF's have struggled this season so expectations on Weid have been too high. He's done his job.

Agree 'Dee'...another running wingman who can work hard up and down the ground. We need to get into someone like we did with Langdon, Phillips at the Pies (yes has a contract but rumours they might offload because of cap issues) has been my suggestion but happy to hear others.

I would swap Goody with Demonlanders...have to be crazy to support Melbourne.

Could someone please explain how the hub rules work... I was listening to SEN the last week and one of the players was out at a coffee shop getting his regular fix. Wish I could remember who it was....coffee or beer, either way you're not in a hub. Regularly frequents the coffee shop. Surely this is not how it works?

He's got something special this kid.... Again he stood up when the pressure was on. His contest then tackle in the last stopped their run on & helped turn the game back in our favour. He lifted when we needed him.

I think you've argued this well 'Dee' and backed it up with solid logic. As much as the defeats really p... me off, there have been changes made to the game and we are still building the list. ...and I know others don't like it but the fixture hasn't helped us. The one are I get really angry with Goodwin is on selection, some decisions defy logic. ...as an aside, I did love seeing him emotionally involved in the game on the weekend rather than his boring poker face look. I hope we see a lot more of it.

I'm not sure this is right 'Cranky'... Now that tackling has been cleaned up you are unlikely to get concussed in congested play. Concussions are more likely to occur in marking contests and accidental contact with players running at speed in more open spaces. They can't get the momentum in congested play to cause concussions and now sling tackles and head high hits have for the most part been taken out of the game I can't see this adding to the problem.

My favourite line from commentators... "He disguised it well" Then they go into meltdown when a player gets called on it.

I definitely think they need to send their camera crews up but as for commentary I don't think it would make much difference to the standard. It has been poor for years. They never comment about anything going on out of camera view anyway. I don't know why but the expert commentators only tell us what we can see on our own screens and never give real insight. The ball by ball commentary will improve if the camera follows the play.

I suspect they are using local camera people. Not schooled in AFL. It's pretty obvious as they often lose the ball. No feel for the game. If they're are using Vic crew then we've got big problems... I hope they can sort it for the finals.

We should work on getting Phillips across from the Pies...that's where my energy would be headed. I know he's contracted but they need cap space and he's a great 2 way runner like Langdon plus can hit the scoreboard.

The word is that Collingwood have a very tight salary cap and need to re sign Moore and De Goey.... Some players will be squeezed out. Phillips (even though contracted) could be getable and would be a great compliment to Langdon. Another hard running wingman.

Believe it or not Goodwin tried him there and it didn't work. He's not the player Daniel's is...same stature but nowhere near the player. I think he will be a fringe back up forward and be in and out as long as his career goes on.
