WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ANGUS BRAYSHAW
Yossarian replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
Loved the unbridled joy on his face after the win, couldn't get the smile off his face. It's so good to be excited by the new kids at the moment not because of flashy highlight reels, but consistent efforts and their attitude. -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ANGUS BRAYSHAW

Brayshaw equal fifth for total tackles in the league. That's just ridiculous. -
One of my favourite players. So happy he's found his role in our side and does it so well. Also won me $20 from a Crows supporter last weekend when he kept Betts to one goal (bet him Garlett would kick more goals than Betts knowing Jetta would smash him). Cheers for the beers, Nev.

What the hell? The entire 3rd floor of the Riccuito stand emptied out, looked like the rain was coming in sideways. You must've been in the eye of the storm mate.

He's not a free agent, restricted or otherwise.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - ALEX NEAL-BULLEN

Very impressive. -
Not sure if it's evidence of us being recognised as a genuine side or not, or just that we have at least one decent player, but I'm loving seeing Nate Jones everywhere lately.

Same thing happened with Stef Martin, though he always tore it up in the limited opportunities he had being number one ruck and was one of my favourite players. It was pure luck he got his chance to dominate at Brisbane. Lucky for him anyway, not so much for Leuey.

9 tackles to Brayshaw on debut is unreal
-
Can you also do the multiple arguments in one post thing?

Hahaha! Whyyy?!

Like it. Robbo's been great for this media stuff. Haven't seen Ellie yet this year. Anyone know if she's still working with the club?
-
Seen pretty much the same thing, but my mate got sucker punched from behind then had his head stomped. Had to have a metal plate inserted into his face. I'm sure it was just that he didn't like footy.
-
Right on. Hawthorn's as much a chance for the spoon as anyone this year. Last year is irrevelant.

I thought it was amusing. Was good to see the lads having a laugh and refreshing that the jokes weren't just focused on how rubbish we've been. For what it's worth, he's a top bloke in person.

The Prince of Wales in Battery Point is a nice pub to watch the footy. Give them a call to make sure they're playing it because I haven't been there in a while.
-
Exactly. As a general point, I don't see the main focus of the ad to attract new or lapsed footy fans to sign up as members, but about trying to create an image in people's minds that the Melbourne footy club is synonymous with Melbourne the city. I think it goes a way to achieving this which is why I think it's a great ad, but it needs to be targeted to the right audience. Showing it in between ad breaks of Fox footy is a waste of time. Might as well show it on the big screen at half time of the Tigers/Blues match if you're going down that path.
-
Well, that's a waste of money. Why bother showing it to people who are already watching the footy?
-
Thanks for giving a rundown of Roosy's segment, mate.
-
I remember the last 3 crushing round one losses vividly.
-
Is he somehow more or less lilkely to play than he was yesterday?
-
Think we're just planting the seed with this one.
