  1. We are a weak club if we don't do absolutely everything in our power to help Jurrah. He is one of our own, and he maintains his innocence. That he is a wonderfully talented player is besides the point.
  2. [censored] this season, seriously, it's just one punch in the face after another.
  3. Oh dear. Trust our luck that he pulls a great game out of his behind just as we get contract negotiations started. FML!
  4. His attitude, from the point of view of a supporter sitting in the stands, is disgusting. He infuriates me every game with his pointing, and his laziness, and then his general poor play. I was thrilled to see him subbed off, and I hope it's a permanent one. For someone who apparently "bleeds Red and Blue" and grew up a Melbourne supporter, he sure doesn't look like he's interested in being around anymore. If I was Nathan Jones, I'd punch him one.
  5. If I got a dollar every time somebody mentioned Sylvia's unfulfilled potential, well I'd have at least $3,409.
  6. I believe in Sam
  7. There is something I love about Jetta. He has something we lack. Attitude? Hardness? Who knows, but it's great to see. Not the most talented small forward going around, but he works hard and kudos for standing under packs and running with the flight of the ball, after spending a whole year out injured.
  8. Highlight of a crap match. Take a bow Spencer!
  9. One of the most boring, uninspiring and poorly skilled game I've seen in a while. Nothing excites me anymore about this season. Tommy Mac kicking across the face of goal and hitting the opposition on the chest just made me cringe. Either I'm really really dumb, or our gameplan lacks a plan. I suppose the lack of forwards doesn't help.
  10. Lol. Normal garbage programming has resumed. Mark Neeld, wtf did you tell the players at half time? Woeful. 3 games and 1 miserable quarter to go. P.S.- if this is the last I see of Moloney, I won't be sorry.
  11. This is the worst game in recent memory, in terms of quality of both teams and their inability to move the ball. It's actually hard to watch. Credit to our boys for fighting hard, but gees we are shite. No forwardline isn't helping either.
  12. Ugh, I truly honestly don't want to go today. I would rather spend the time burning my eyeballs. But alas, my sense of duty to this club is getting the better of me again. Please just go away 2012!
  13. I'd be very very disappointed if we didn't offer Rivers a decent contract to keep him put. He has been one of our best, most consistent senior players and has not dropped his head once, despite being demoted from the leadership group. As for Jurrah, if we get rid of him because it's just all "too hard", then we should be ashamed of ourselves as a club.
  14. Congrats Greeny. Classy til the very end. Thanks for the memories over the years and the wonderful way in which you continously represented our club. A fantastic clubman who always gave his all.
  15. Some of our supporters really make me question humanity. FFS, injured or not, any player who goes out there and risks their well being to represent our club, deserves a level of respect. If we are happy to see our own fail, then we are a pathetic bunch and don't deserve success.
  16. I bet you Dunn stays. He has been OK down back.
  17. Ugh, trust this season to torture me to the very end by ending on the day of my birthday. I refuse to cancel my plans so I can watch us lose. First game I'll miss watching, probably ever. Stupid stupid 2012 season!
  18. That bump from Tappy was honestly the highlight of the game for me. It probably was the only time my heartbeat went over 35 beats per minute, I was that bored. But Tappy was blowing hard today, and is clearly not fit. Would love to see him with a proper pre-season finally. Also thought Strauss did some good things. His kicking is still awesome.
  19. Cale dislocated his shoulder, but apparently the doctors were able to put it straight back in, so the extent of the damage may only be minor. Fair to say Ablett was running circles around Morton, as he has done around many players for many years. He is simply a freak.
  20. Well done to Jess, great effort. I'm sure we'll see you in 2016.
  21. I'm a fan because he is an intelligent midfielder, and I like those. We can't judge him on his first game this season. He clearly was a bit lost and struggled with the pace and game plan (who the f' isn't struggling with the game plan?!). I hope he plays out the rest of the year, and we judge him on his progress, rather than one average display in his first game back from numerous injuries.
  22. That was one of the worst wins I can remember. We were appaling through the middle, and were saved only by GC having virtually no forwards, and a terrible backline. Had we put on the same display versus Hawthorn today, we would have lost by 120 points, and to me, that is the only thing that matters. We are not competitive, we simply don't have a midfield (with the exception of Jones), which is good enough to beat any serious sides. Howe, Tappy, Jones and TMac made me slightly less apathetic about the game, but otherwise, I would have enjoyed an afternoon nap just as much. This season is so dead to me, I am literally counting down the weekends until it ends. P.S.- if anyone reading this cheered when Morton was subbed off, please uppercut yourself immidiately, you heartless troll!
  23. Lowlight of the match thus far was Melbourne supporters cheering when Morton was subbed off. Pathetic, even if you didn't realise he was injured. Poor kid, I really feel for him. Otherwise this game is a snooze fest of incompetence on both sides, with one side being slightly less shizen.
  24. Awesome news. They have been so far and few this season.
  25. Yeah, I really don't understand why the most obvious explanation isn't being trotted around... McLean is a goddamn dumbass!
