  1. Clark has been a bust, but we were criminally screwed in that trade given Clark's potential ceiling. He came with high risk, high reward factor. Lumumba has also been a massive disappointment. He was a low risk low reward.
  2. I read the first 6 words and nearly vomited Salem to play midfield. Salem NOT moving anywhere. Phew!
  3. It sounds like overs to me, but only because his form the last two seasons stinks
  4. Seriously this charade has gone on long enough Make a decision or I hope the club makes it for him
  5. Bernie posted a picture with Lachie Neale on Instagram. Conclusion- Lachie Neale is the big fish. Straight swap for Dawes.
  6. If you've ever been to China and had the misfortune of driving (or being driven rather), this is pretty much a standard day. I once spent 4 hours being driven 40km across Shanghai. It was slower than watching Melbourne climb up the ladder.
  7. It's a Collingwood player thing I think.
  8. Definitely not having a go. There is a reason why I'm here all day reading rumours and sources.
  9. How do you know that Carlisle wouldn't have nominated Melbourne, had we had any interest in him? Players aren't nominating clubs that have no interest in them. Otherwise everyone would say they want to go to Hawthorn.
  10. Because of we've learnt anything it's that there is no point keeping players who are only in it for the money or quick success We plucked this guy from obscurity. He would be changing light globes today if not for us. Now he has the nerve to ask for more money than he's worth because he takes a specie once in a while?! Commit or take a hike. This ongoing saga for an average player. What a joke.
  11. Howe must really be desperate for money. Going to a club that finished below us on the ladder and relocating his life. Again. Glad we are sticking by our deal. Do not overpay players who don't deserve it. We need all the worlds money for Hogan. All. Of. The. Monies.
  12. Sometimes I wish the Internet would break down during the trade period so I could waste less of my life reading up on every delicious, insane, infuriating bullshite rumour made up by "sources", aka the left hand of a pre pubescent teen.
  13. I don't know why I'm bothering, but I can think of 4 clubs off the top of my head who would snap him up if he was open to leaving, including teams that will likely have more success than us in the next 3 years. Seasoned defenders are very hard to come by, particularly defenders who can play tall and small and have good pace. It's quite pathetic that someone who just confessed their undying love for our club is being potted by a [censored] who says he loves this footy club.
  14. Chad Wingard at MFC= making Jaded happy for the rest of eternity Chances of this happening= 0%
  15. He lives in WA, there are only about 1000 people there and about 500 of those are associated either Freo or WCE.
  16. If Frawley was actually committed to us during the year, and played like he was interested in staying, we would have kept him. There is no doubt about it. Frawley was never going to stay, he was after success, quick gratification. He got what he wanted, and we got a much much better player than he ever could hope to be in Brayshaw. It worked out for everyone, but if Brayshaw was Toumpas mark II, we would all be spewing and rightly so.
  17. Tell me about it, Hogan's manager is putting together a 38 year contract as we speak.
  18. Hamish Hartlett just signed a 6 year deal at Port. Another target gone.
  19. Go read what he said about chasing success (or just read my signature). These are the kinds of players I want at my club, even if they aren't champion A graders. We all cry at night thinking of Hogan leaving, but if you don't extend a level of loyalty and support to your older players who have stuck it out, how can we expect young potential stars to do the same? Loyalty goes both ways. And just by the way, he is a good defender, very versatile in being able to play tall and small, and has been fairly consistent for many years. We could do a hell of a lot worse!
  20. Re-signed for 3 years. I for one am very happy
  21. I am less cross about this retirement now (terrible pun, sorry!) So glad that this incredibly well respected and professional athlete is sticking around to help our up and coming list get the best out of themselves.
  22. Thrilled about Garland Totally underwhelmed by the rest
