I am a MASSIVE Garland fan. He cares so much, and works so hard. He isn't a perfect player but he gives you everything. His reaction on the siren was heart warming. I hope they sign him ASAP

We definitely don't play as a "team", which is something Roos has mentioned before Players go into themselves and play for stats rather than do the team things, when we aren't winning

As I said last week, if you're an AFL player and you made the decision to run inside 50 and you find yourself with ball in hand, kick the goddamn goal. If you can't back yourself to do that, please go away.

I think Roos has done a lot of good, especially off the field The fact that we even managed to get guys like Vince wanting to come play for us, and the fact that Jones didn't give us the finger and went to win a flag somewhere else, is a tiny miracle in itself What Roos seems to have done is given the players a sense of purpose and they seem to me less morbidly depressed than they were under Neeld. I also don't doubt that training and preparation has become more professional. But on game day, not much has changed. We are more "contested" yes, we tackle better, we don't get blown apart as often. But we still can't execute basic skills, we still make dumb decisions, and I still don't see a game plan. On game day Roos leaves me wanting more. Having said that, 3 coaches, 7 years, and we still suck. When do we say "it's not you its me"??

I still don't understand why we rushed in to secure Goodwin. I'm not saying he won't be great, but who is to say another flag this year for Clarkson and the lure of bringing MFC back into the light, coupled with bags of cash, wouldn't be tempting? We gave up too easily on Dew and haven't pursued a Hawthorn man hard enough IMHO. I hope like hell I'm wrong. But 5 more years of this shizen?! No thanks!

No issues with Grimes today He was no worse with the over use of the handball that anyone else. At least he actually went in hard and got his hands on it. And his kicking was much better than other "leaders" like Dawes and Dunn who also gave away dumb frees to top off a marvelous performance

It's hard for me to judge Roos because I don't know what goes on off the field There is no doubt that Roos and Jackson have improved us a lot as a club. On game day however, we are no better than we were under Bailey.

Nothing has changed. We are still a bunch of weak pea-hearted no hopers. I can count 3 players who put in every week. Maybe 4 now that Brayshaw is here. The rest of the team picks and chooses when to play. Our skills are deplorable, our intensity is questionable at best and we have no consistency in effort. None. The only thing worse than our effort today was the [censored] woeful umpiring.

Can't stand this "lets not be selfish" in the forward 50 stuff Too many players in a position to take a shot, and instead choose to handpass If you're an AFL player and you find yourself inside 50 on a reasonable angle, you need to be able to kick the goal. Simple. If you can't do that, you shouldn't go inside 50.
