Good season, and got progressively better as the season went on, which is unusual for 1st year players. Really love his skills. A real breath of fresh air when you see a Melbourne player actually hit targets consistently!

He's 25 years old for god's sake, does he want to move back in with is mummy and daddy so they can wash his socks for him? He's a fully grown adult and a bloody millionaire at that. Can't believe he wouldn't consider driving an hour to see his parents if it meant a better career move for him. Perplexing.

Terlich is contracted- so not an easy delist, obviously issues to work through with pay outs etc... I think Matt Jones the same, although Matt Jones might stay depending on how trade week goes I think.

The idea is that we want to bring in talent to supplement the small amount of talent we already possess. It's laughable that you're having a coronary over the idea of trading a B grade 27 year old defender, but are happy to throw up one of our most promising 20 year olds up for trade. Would we trade Salem for Dangerfield or Fyfe? Yes of course. But realistically that deal will never come off. We are more likely to do a good deal by trading someone like Watts or Toumpas and getting another promising youngster into the fold. Think man!

Oh Essendon, the drugs have really gone to your head I'll throw in Dean Terlich to sweeten the deal! The funniest thing about all this, is one of my best mates is a die hard Essendon supporter. When the rumour of this broke, he texted me, and I quote: "Melksham- will trade for a stale packet of salt & vinegar chips. Will bring his own footy".

They might stay in Melbourne? Really hard to pick a winner tonight. Both are great stories and I would love to see them both succeed this season. Adelaide are very strong and are a chance against Hawthorn. They will test their backline that's for sure. Will certainly be barracking for Adelaide against those filthy arrogant Hawks.
