Poor old Jesse Hogan Misses one game after kicking 5, and everyone is over him. Brayshaw is amazing and I love him endlessly, but Hogan is the revelation of the decade for a young KPF!

Except for Garlett, where the more difficult the kick the more accurate he is!

Vince has to be in All Australian form If he keeps this up, he should be selected... but then not play because heaven forbid he gets injured!

How can anyone think that Garland isn't an automtic in?! Have you seen West Coast's forward line? Did you watch Bail struggle in defence? You all cray!

Epic LOLs at anyone who thinks Hogan and Garland aren't automatic ins. In: HOGAN, Garland, JHK, Fizpatrick Out: Bail, Riley, Stretch, Spencer I think everyone who gets dropped this week is stiff, but we are about to meet the 2nd best team in the comp on form. We are not leaving players which are clearly in our best 22 out because we won. We need to keep getting better, and the game will step up again versus West Coast who are in amazing form. We need 2 rucks, but I'm personally unsure what we get from Spencer when he isn't rucking as he can't defend. Plus we don't want to be too tall and immobile. Already Dawes is like a horse in quick sand. Hogan no brainer, Garland no brainer, JHK a perfect replacement for Bail and a serious upgrade. Matt Jones did a wonderful job on the weekend, and he stays. We need that speed off half forward and he can play the shut down role to stop West Coast from counter attacking. Stretch might need a bit of a break. It's the only reason I dropped him, and I feel terrible about it.

I like that even though the game was in the bag, they kept practicing the countdown Roos said that after the match Vince told him all he could hear from the bench was "4 minutes to go, 3:30 minutes to go" etc You live and you learn. We need this to be an ingrained thing, especially when you think how often we let teams kick goals on us with seconds left in quarters. It's frustrating to lose momentum going into breaks, let alone lose games because they aren't concentrating on keeping a lead.

Injuries will be telling, as will how the bodies of our young players hold up as the season wears on I expect us to beat Lions, Carlton and St Kilda at the G. All other games are 50/50 at best with WC & Freo certain losses. If we finish with 8 wins that is a 100% improvement on last year, and gives us a great platform to build on for 2016 where we should aim for 12 wins and a top 8 finish.

Finally got to unpack some boxes in my new office today. Found my miniature Melbourne desk flag and rather than shoving it into a draw, sat it proudly on my desk. Had half a dozen congratulations afterwards. Made today much easier even as I sat through a 3 hour management meeting with a deadly flu. Nothing quite like a win!

I wish the Fox Footy commentators would learn the names of our players. Spencer is not Gawn Stretch and Neal Bullen are not also Toumpas Ameture embarrassing stuff.

Everyone played a role today but surely Vince gets top votes. He was outstanding. 38 touches and 11 clearances. Amazing!
