That may be true, although i agree with previous posts in that he is criticised for not taking those shots and passing the ball when he can take a shot himself etc.... and was better to get a chance in a game like the weekend, heaps of players would have taken it

JUICE will get a game or the FD made a really bad error with their first rookie decision, Juice is the versatile player we need atm imo, ruck and forward option if he cant get a game under these circumstances after kicking 2 bags of goals already for Casey then im stumped. I also think that both Evans and Nicholson are deserving of a shot...only one will get a gig though should be very interesting, i think that both of these players are in better form than, Bennell, Morton and Jetta Also Macdonald is very in fine form in my opinion, is to good for the VFL, this could be his opening... big body, mature etc experienced

maybe Jetta...i think that Bennell has been very disappointing this season, and i want more than one game from him after being dropped...3 minimum. Nicholson has been in ripper form for Casey, many times named in the best, same can be said for Evans.

I bet you would be eqaully disappointed if a fully fit and firing Scully was running around for Casey for a month, with 8 weeks on the injury list being the minimum when you upgrade a rookie.... so he could have been left stranded. This teel me that the club was possibly optimistic about the extent of the injury at the beginning Club wasnt going to do that to their number one assett

It is actually an interesting topic, After Sunday Baileys position has "improved" seemingly, but can still go either way, we all know what happens if the team falls back into old habits, that is Good bye and a hand shake. The question i think is more relevant is what happens if things continue as are? we win 11-12 games this is the best possible scenario in my opinion... or there abouts and make the 8??? I still have the same opinion as last week, and that is that as the MFC we need to target the BEST possible candidate in 2012, so who will that be if Bailey lifts this team in the coming rounds? Does it change from a Malthouse/Roos to him? I think we would need to be playing with a very high intensity for this to happen..... My point being even if Bailey wins 11-12 games or more would we all take a Malthouse or Roos anyway i will go out on a limb and say yes That is the facts for Bailey.... so when does he become the BEST candidate... is he 3rd behind the BIG 2... if he can get the team playing consistently at a high level? or does he keep it regardless if he can do this? If he can get the team playing at a similar level to the weekend for a long period of time and be competitive he becomes a very valuable commodity....this is all a long way off

Neil Craig mentioned in his press conference yesterday that he tried over 3 people tagging Moloney, but gave up because he was unstoppable. 21 contested possessions yesterday, apparently the old club record was 15... 19 clearances which is now an AFL RECORD, previously 18 Mike Sheehan put Moloney in his pre season top 50 reasonably highly and myself and others questioned this.... but hasnt he delivered, very impressive

Ok How good was the game (now yesterday), great response from our boys lets hope that they can back it up. Now being their was amazing, although the crowd was embarrassing, 19,900 What are peoples thoughts on a Mothers day fixtures for the MFC? Play it against a Victorian team, and encourage everybody to get to the game? not just MFC and opposition supporters? not getting 20K to a game is average, although the weather was crap around lunch time, and it is mothers day... but why not turn this into some sort of advantage if possible? I saw my mum earlier in the week, and she had no problems with me going to the footy, however i do understand that others cant get to the game for this reason. I just had the thought that it might be a way to turn it into a bigger thing? take your mum to the footy for the day, make it a family thing? all the big games started from something?? footy is often a family event anyway why cant the MFC exploit this? Play it with Carlton to pull some crowds?
