You bitter individual, picket. He has a long way to go, but was far from our worst today. Under seige v Hawks did reasonably well. Yes he still has a lot to learn but will learn faster playing AFL than VFL. That said he may be due for a spell at Casey. Coming back from Alice should be no more problem that coming from Perth or Brisbane - absolutely no excuse for a poor performance. Darwin on the other hand is a much longer flight and is far more physically taxing. So why not, if something interstate is deemed necessary keep the Alice one and ditch the Darwin one, especially as the AFL in their (total lack of) wisdom refuse to give us, and our opponents for that matter, this fixture immediately before the bye.
