What coaching expertise would ⛏️ 👃☝bring? Hird, Buckley and Voss #1 at least - great players, not so good coaches. I was thinking along similar lines. Still involved with the club through AFLW, and even if not formally a forward coach certainly could continue as a mentor (which I suspect he is already).

I agree that he was a really weird choice as sub, and this season has confirmed that he was not a half sensible trade in to say the least*, but in that last quarter TMc was quite lame ( not a criticism of Tom by the way) and Schache was as fresh as he ever would be. I believe he can run, so running off the concussed but not subbed (CFC are such a privileged shonky mob) could not have been a worse option. Poor coaching in my inexpert view - akin to the Stan Alves leaving Shannahan one on one on Jarman back last century in a GF that got away. * remind me please of the details of the trade. Who out and who in, what draft numbers etc. Thanks.

Interesting that he isn’t being used to help teach our forwards proper leading patterns. Could he, were he interested, make the perfect replacement forward coach for Stafford? Seems very well liked, and respected.

Kolt (and Windsor) have had only one preseason. Imagine what they may be able to achieve after two, or three.

I would say Tholstrup - learning pretty fast For once it didn't cost us a game though. I am sure there are stats somewhere that show how many calls have gone for and against certain teams. Cost us the final v Carlton and other games I cannot specify.

Just turned it on - about 4 minutes to go in Q3 how good was it to see the absolutely manic movement in the Sydney deep forward line as one of their players had a mark on about 50. No gathering in a Demonic style pack, and no congestion. Any chance at all that any of our players and or coaches had a look and saw that it is a far better option than ou "kick it long to pack"?
