Delistings/trades at end of the season
I think it is pretty bloody clear just how much they came to depend on GAJ - top 6 bound last year until he went down: downhill from there until now. No depth - even less that ours. Overdependent on one individual - a bit like CarlTank. I think someone else beat me to the punch - A vdB has been a revelation until injured.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
I would let Jamar go, with a big thank you, and keep Spencer, Gawn, Fitz and rookie King. That would leave Gawn and Spencer as the preferred rucks, with Fitz as a versatile back up (and a handy tall defender especially as some suggest if Garland goes somewhere else). King to be developed. Frost as back up. Unfortunately Dawes can't / won't ruck. What is Dawes' contractual status? And of course despite some folk's interpretation of what Roos said about Pedersen, I don't see that he will be let go. Can ruck, and a handy back up forward, and can also play tall down back. More versatile than Dawes. Need a reasonable number of talls and versatile ones who can do a decent job in defence of attack so much the better. What is the latest on interchange limitations for next year, and sub or 22 players?? Major reductions could see a return to playing two rucks on the ground, opening opportunities for a Gawn / Spencer combination.

I presume that is an oblique reference to a downhill skier who can't keep his feet?

Heffernan, Moorcroft :-(((( Certainly pass on him now.

The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
And Liam was indeed a very exciting player who drew crowds just to see him play Had he not had his "issues", sadly starting when he had an injury that interrupted his normal routine at the club, then I suspect he would still be drawing crowds, and in tandem with Jessie would present an enormously exciting sight.

The English language can have some amazing nuances when used creatively. Beautiful turn of phrase. And, back to topic. What is Dawes' contract status?

It was surely, in effect, Salam plus Tyson over Kelly, just to put it into true perspective. Do you honestly think that Kelly, in our side, would be burning them up this year?

What colour is the sky? Demonland responds..
Q: What colour will the sky be on Sunday afternoon? A: Who cares, we won't see it playing at Doglands.

What colour is the sky? Demonland responds..
How come we are stuck with this underscheiving blue sky that will never get us anywhere, when we should obviously have taken that fantastic teal sky that is exciting all those lucky Port Adelaide fans. What a shocking choice.

IIRC we lost one last September - final game of the season.

Fabulous post But Mr Roos, aided by Mr Jackson, and maybe a few players, will inevitably bring us all unprecedented joy and success within twelve months. Without a shadow of doubt.
