First kicking in danger for the season, I think, to Collingwood in their forward line of course.
-
How was that HTB (resulting in another Collingwood goal) - he had half a nanosecond before tackled. Any doubt that the AFL have rigged this one dispelled now, surely.

I guess former Collingwood MRO will engage the Christian spirit of Easter and ignore, or downplay, Pendlebery’s cowardly off play gut punch to Neale. Sure they aren’t a hit on the head but they are an absolute blight on the game and regularly directed against ball players. Clarry gets them every week.

Two blatant frees against 🕶️ - holding in the ruck and in the back, not paid., in a five second period in Brisbanes forward 50. HQ really unhappy about the prospects of Collingwood going 0-4

In what world can crypto technology, as show to the public anyway, call Mihocek cleanly marking the ball before crossing the line?

[censored] the Magpie pulled the ball into the Lion and the blindsided maggot paid HTB. Awful decision.

Jack has surely reached club legend status already. Never say die, incredibly hard but fair. His own hard work has improved his “genetically poor” kicking to now be very good (as did Todd). His team mates must just love having him on the field with them - relentless and leads by example. Thanks Jack for all you have already done for our club and our fans.

I don’t imagine that there is much long grass at WoopWoop West via Ceduna where I believe he hails from. Maybe a bit of stunted brown grass and spinafex.

Was there to ba another training session Wednesday or was it Thursday morning prior to traveling to Adelaide? Has the squad gone yet and if so who is in it?

I must say I haven’t seen much to rave about in his few games, and I doubt he would be a flight risk were the re signing left until he has had more opportunities to show his wares, but clearly those who see him all the time can envisage far more than me. So, I am glad to leave it to the experts and good luck Bill. We should all get behind him.

He wasn’t anywhere near Sicily off the play, was he?

Absolutely NO; population too small and Darwin certainly unsuited to winter football - humid, wet, hot. Alice has a far better winter footy climate notwithstanding the disaster of 2023 (coldest day on record and very unseasonable rain in the area) but the population is way too small. 18 teams dilute the talent pool already, 19 then 20 will just make it worse. 16 would be better. Solution - merge the three teams that have been going to Tasmania (North, Hawks, Saints) as the Tassie Devils. Otherwise just relocate the Kangaroos and keep it at 18. Don't the AFL see the chaos and inequities of an odd number of teams as displayed in the VFL?? Sorry forgot that the AFL have never had the slightest interest in inequity.

Depends if you are flying yourself (would be difficult) or in a plane which should be no problem. i suspect that you are thinking of a punctured lung / pneumothorax (air in the chest cavity around partially collapsed lung) where flying is a big no no.

Maybe Chandler if he is not 100%, which would be sad given his great game Saturday. I haven’t seen AMW play - would he be a like for like Chin replacement, or just maybe the young Kolt?
-
Mr Fence. I can only think as others have mentioned that this could be perhaps seen as development, though I agree that we are in pressing need of a tall forward in the near future. I don’t know enough about Casey’s forward talls - is he being squeezed out at all? I sadly remember KF prospects when we were aligned with Sandringham being squeezed out and their development stunted by Nick Saunter. Though, frankly, our young player development was overall pretty 💩 back then. The only youngster I can clearly remember from those days who had any success developing through the Zebras was one Nathan Jones.

I believe we have one spot in the midseason draft. Would any of these be an option? If so who would you see as the best prospect?

Hare-Clark system seems better described as Hare Brained. Guaranteed to result in a divided compromised government. Probably appropriate for Tasmania though.

Sydney complaining about Essendon tactics off the ball...
monoccular replied to Ouch!'s topic in Melbourne Demons
We already have four umpires who seem blind and or oblivious to the vast majority of these off ball elbows, belly jabs and bumps. Surely they can see these, and if not maybe OPSM could replace SpecSavers as their sponsor. A few more off ball free kicks and or 50 meter penalties, with reports and suspensions for striking, and elbowing, would stop this immediately. Repeated belly jabs / elbows are not trivial. Maybe the boundary umpires could also call the most blatant of these. PS the regular repeated unpunished deliberate elbows to Max’s head (and knees to his back) just exposes the utter hypocrisy of the AFL and their insincere “protect the head” stance. If anyone hoped that a change at the top would ease the hypocrisy got it wrong. Gentle kicking is ok and bumps involving the head only apply to certain teams. The only thing that they care about is $$$$$ - so until the class action bankrupts them, including their payouts, nothing will happen. -
Yes if stable and not part of the spinal cord surrounds. And add in the reckless assault on Max after he marked - not even a bloody 50 meter which it should have been every time No two injuries are the same. Remember Lockdown Dan was in a brace for months. Other can fracture transverse processes and hardly notice it. Agree re caution but target May at your own peril.

Thanks as always kev Particularly interested in Melk and Turner being in the main group already. How well did they move? And were they involved at all in competitive work?

The Gus “debacle” was a well planned faux prosecution designed to keep the assailant playing finals.

Of course not.
