  1. And he will get a goal assist for it 🤔
  2. If not they should be.
  3. But we can’t drag both Oliver and Ftittata
  4. Maybe they do get paid?
  5. I was about to say 22:30 into the Q and no score. Great goal Riv
  6. In fairness there were no other options.
  7. Decent first Q but nothing since. Backwards since Q time. Haven’t has a 4Q match for an age
  8. Looks L A Z Y IMO
  9. He does have donuts or maybe an Audi or Olympics.
  10. If he isn’t up to it he should not be playing. Pure and simple
  11. Great goal assist Kolt
  12. The whole KB “incident” was, as was the moon landing, staged. Moore had a pad on his knee. Tracc could have played on and could have played tonight. The scan was a scam. Anyone who calls me a conspiracy theorist is one themselves. He just wants play with Moore and 🐀💩4

I guess we will get a good look at him tonight - maybe we will see how early he is locked down? Hopefully?

This has been one of my biggest complaints / observations for years - even way back when Ox and Neitz were there. Always congested. Is it laziness or lack of coaching? Carlton are doing it well.

Surely no sane selection committee would select a player straight into the firsts after a long layoff 🙄😮 Is that the same de Koenig who kneed Max in the head from behind in a ruck contest - “play on”? Only emphasizes the lack of knowledge of the rules by the part time umpires. Perhaps they have a forward coach who understands forward play and structure. Who do they have in that role? And of course there will be atonement for that error made up in spades tonight 😡
  17. Could be just a malicious rumour, but I did hear somewhere that his knees are not quite 100% 🤫

If all the players in the original post played to their capabilities consistently we would have a very solid base going forward Re the backline : they have been far more under siege this season due to the significant fall off in our midfield.
  19. I wouldn’t trust either the AFL or the media on anything much actually WCW - you hate mi’splaced comma’s, wherea’s I really get ‘severely up’set when ‘someone put’s apo’strophe’s before ju’st about every letter ‘s.
  20. Whether or not we are playing finals, we don’t need players suspended for round 1 (or round zero; maybe the AFL will, in their infinite wisdom, call it round munis 1. 🙄). Remember Kozzie missed round 0 this year, and we surely and sorely missed him. Do we know whether he did or didn’t have his spleen removed. See below. “I had to go straight into surgery at 2am; open surgery. I wasn’t under anaesthetic because my blood levels were so low.” This sounds very strange and there are surely some missing pieces. I have never seen (or done) open abdominal surgery without anaesthesia even in dire emergencies. If he actually had “open surgery” on his abdomen he will be pushing to get ready for the start of 2025. Club doctors need to make clinical decisions, which involves the history of and from the patient, and hands on touch, feel, listen. There is always patient input in this. And diagnoses are always subject to periodical review. Some may be adept at “bedside ultrasound” but this is very operator dependent and in this case wouldn’t have been of much help - note that the first CT some 4 hours post injury failed to show his splenic injury. As far as radiological assessment of scans is concerned, this can be achieved almost instantaneously remotely. This happens almost everywhere all the time : reports come from the UK (or USA or other English speaking first world health system countries) overnight when our radiologists are sound asleep, and vice versa. But the technology of achieving a quality scan depends on good well maintained equipment, and a competent radiographer who would need to be immediately available on site. Unlikely to be achievable at every AFL ground for every game. It is not as if there is a glut of radiographers who would only rarely be used for a CT scan. Especially as they are too tight assed to spend a few hundred bucks on goal line technology.

    Actually, Schache is neither, sadly.

And don't discount a midfield who can deliver cleanly too. PS ... and a plan too

But would Goody have not given him a run either?
  24. monoccular replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Sure, but in what role - he wouldn't / couldn't play froward at all (after the practice match at Casey v Richmond)?? Thanks, Nostradamus 🙄 What a performance by Joel Armati. 9.1 from 10 disposals, including 7 marks, 6 tackles. Could anyone ever do that in the red and blue?? "Only" 195 cm. Do we have any recruiting scouts in Ghana?

The highlighted bit is worth a bump - forward and forward entry game plan is killing our chances and our fan base. We have many of the cattle, but no plan or no workable one. 😧😮😢
