That was 100% a free for a high tackle… was always there. St Kilda lost this game regardless of the umpiring. To have the lead they did in what was a low scoring game and then lose, speaks volumes for where they’re at as a team. It’s no different to our loss to Adelaide… everyone loves to blame the umpires because that’s easy, but the reality was that we gave up a match winning lead through our own ineptitude.

Brown is listed as an emergency, so could still be a late replacement for TMac.

I got free tickets (MFC sent emails containing bar codes), but that might be because I live in Sydney.

I only went to one of those meetups at the Camelia Grove Hotel and it was a game in which we got smashed… there were plenty of those then. We may have met then? If you want to say hello, just look for my beard a few seats along ? We’re in seats 12 and 13.

My son and I are in row D in SBAY25 (Clive Churchill Stand); we opted for the free member tickets. We’re just behind and slightly to the right of the goals (if I’m remembering the layout correctly).

I got my tickets (to be sent to mobile), but when I click the links in the SMS they are not yet available. The first time I’ve encountered that.

I think that wherever the game is played, it will attract a large crowd, simply because of the occasion and the high regard/admiration, in which Neale Daniher is held within the footballing community and beyond - the Big Freeze is NOT just about footy. The only down side is that Neale will probably not be able to attend in person, although I hope I'm very wrong about that.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention this yet, but while I would prefer to see the game go ahead in Adelaide where it would be bound to have pretty close to a sell out crowd, would ND be in a fit enough state to cope with the rigors of traveling to South Australia and possibly being accommodated there as well (a return trip on the one day would no doubt be very taxing on him), which is logistically far more difficult than a short trip to the 'G'. It would be a shame to see the event going ahead without ND in attendance.

A case of what goes around, comes around? I’m pretty sure we had to play our home game against the Saints at Marvel on at least one occasion in the not too distant past.

Finally, if crowds are allowed, my son and I might be able to get to a game without having to drive hundreds of kilometres!
