  1. The attack on the ball, the mongrel that BK, Kent, Viney, VB inject into our team is amazing. Suddenly a team we can be proud to support.
  2. would be strange given he appears to have done well in the 3k TT on the club website. Surely he'd be in there getting it done if information was correct.
  3. Yes - but I wouldn't mind a player that could kick the freaking ball accurately. He would feel out of place, but he might be useful
  4. IIRC his manager shouted it from the rooftops, not us. We responded once it was out there and a done deal. This boat doesn't seem as leaky as the last few, one of the big changes under Roos.
  5. Geez, Jack Watts sure will be happy when the new whipping boy Melksham arrives.
  6. A chance on Kavanagh is surely worth more than M.Jones or Terlich bring. Does anyone know why he got the arse at Dons? His stats aren't dreadful in the limited games he got this year (vested twice in 5 games)
  7. Site bitching aside, this kid obviously has some serious ability. How did he go at the combine? If he has the tank and some skills to go with that mongrel he's got to be right up there.
  8. geez I hope so. would be far more stressed about losing him given his glimpses late last season compared to Howe.
  9. Kudos to the club management for nobody having a freaking clue what we are doing. If Treloar is humouring StKilda, he'd have to be doing similar with us.
  10. Ellis is a gun, Tyson needs another step up before he's on that level.
  11. I'd be sad if stuie the troll left, you go son (of a #$%_=)
  12. 24 yo, pace and creativity off HB. Isn't that pretty much exactly what we need? I'll back McCartney / Goodwin / Roos to turn him around.
  13. Wasn't how meant to be all but signed? And Garland?
  14. Surprised there's not more being said about this guy. I can't see Bennell fitting into a Roos culture, O'Meara is big risk / reward and Prestia seems (at least on face value) to have said no. If we need outside pace then perhaps this could be our guy. Has been much better than I gave him credit for in his first year. Outside player, very quick and breaks lines / gets into space. Was average in the first few years when GCS had a midfield but turned it on big time towards the end of this year when GCS were depleted. Had 24 or more touches in the last 7 games including Crows, WCE, Richmond, Port and Swans. http://www.fanfooty.com.au/players/year.php?firstname=Aaron&surname=Hall&year=2015 Was originally a Hobart boy, so no family ties to Gold Coast.
  15. Roos doesn't want d!ckheads.....wont happen.
  16. Assuming this isnt covered on TV? Thanks in advance to those covering from the ground
  17. Whatever - good luck Goodes. Try and revel in your last moments of relevance before you retire while you destroy what should have been an awesome legacy. I only see toolbag, I don't see colour or race.
  18. Good Tasie boy and a nice bloke but Gee. Howe for a first rounder? Sign me up. Surely the AFL are more worried about their oldest child rather than their youngest now.....
  19. I can only assume one of three things given your self declared precognition; 1) that things improve dramatically for us in the coming years, 2) you are a masochist, or 3) you want to sound smarter than you are. I'm fairly sure the latter is the short odds. If not, feel free to PM me the lotto numbers for the weekend.
  20. Goodes' hit was a fair bump. Soccer mums wont like it but I hope that part of our game doesn't ever go away.
  21. This. Roos says whatever he thinks will (externally) be met with the least resistance. The conversations and the experiences going on behind closed doors are a completely different matter.
