Sorry - I'm just utterly staggered that professional footballers don't watch every single relevant game (i.e. I understand not watching bottom four sides play). Beyond the fact that its ridiculous to compare the elite to the average worker given that the elite are trying to be the top 1% while by definition the average are not, if they don't want to do everything they can to be the best then what the hell chance do they have ? Thoroughly confounded to learn that some players don't watch the best teams week in, week out.

TDI just wanted to say a quick thanks for your continued contributions here. One of the rare few that present information we would not otherwise get from our desk jockey lives. Much appreciated. Don't be discouraged by the comments of those with nothing better to do. Many of us open this thread simply to read your reviews.

There is nothing in the title of this story which is then backed up by a quote from MFC or DF management. 1. Why would his management give anyone a stone cold no when they could use it as leverage later to get him where he wants? 2. Why would MFC be forthcoming to Jay fkn Clark regarding getting turned down. Hack journalism with ambiguous statements made on guestimates by the author.

Played at the F1 a few years back and had mass support. Not my cup of tea but plenty seem to love them.

Geezuz thought this was about Tom Mc Seriously move on people. TS got offered too much money (not his fault), we got paid overs for the compo (regardless of how we used it) and we didn't need to cough up huge coin to keep him (which we were going to do via 3rd party arrangements that got shot down). I'd rather the current reality to one where we kept an overrated player.

Thanks to those who provided training reviews. Am I the only one completely confused why any mod worth his salt doesn't just fly through these threads and delete the bickering? The ratio of 'the same blokes going at each other over a keyboard' to 'football related' posts is enormous.
