We certainly told Bailey what to do and then binned him for it. We told Neeld to go hard and binned him for it when he lost the players. We are culpable in the whole thing but Neeld could not make us competitive and that was his downfall.

We turned over 14 players last year and I'm guessing 8 or 9 the year before and 8 or 9 the year before that. Its not really the same playing group.

Gardner left this place in a horrible state while all the time telling us things were good and we were running at a profit. Unfortunately the boys club came in and made what seemed like good decisions regarding the footy dept but were found wanting. Some of these decisions you move on from. Everyone was well intentioned. However the decision that is still unfathomable was the one to re-appoint Schwab. His first appointment was highly questionable. The extension of contract was a blunder of the highest order. We have to go back to square one which PJ looks like doing. The scary part is there are no Demon people leading the call for change at the top. It is being left to external parties - the media, PJ, the AFL and the worst of all, Kennett. Where are our supporters and leaders?? Who are the 'well heeled' supporters that should be leading the charge?? We need strength, smarts, passion, leadership, loyalty and money. I fear that we actually don't have anyone of the calibre we need.

We NEVER enter the pre-season with any momentum. Our team doesn't play together until round 1. We play few practice matches and have not intensity with our match drills. We are an unknown quantity, And when we get smashed in rd 1 like we have since 2007 (bar one draw) we fall apart. Four out of the last 6 years we have been 1 and 10 after rd 11. We need to start our training in Oct with footballs in hand playing match after match to drill into players what is expected and how to play. tell the sports scientists to sod off. Play football.

Neeld didn't get the job by coming in and saying "you have a crap list it will take me 5 years to re-build it" He has made the list worse and he can't coach. Last 3 rds losses by 95, 83 and 89. Can anyone seriously defend him?

My understanding is thats why he was brought in. For a smooth handover.....watch this space

I say two things to this thread..... The board needs to go but WHO is standing up to drive the club forward?? Its pathetic that we need Kennet to calling for Board change. thats how much passion has been sucked from this club. Very few seem to give a stuff because they have been treated like a mangy dog - being kicked around for months and years and pretty soon all fight is gone. They stand whimpering in the corner. Thats how this club feels to me. It will show affection for anyone that gives it a pat. Secondly, we have already had a big review. It was called the Andrews report. It was shelved because no-one liked it and it told too many home truths. Largely (from my understanding) about CSchwab and Connolly and how they "allegedly" undermined Bailey. Now I don't know the truth of any of that but it sure as hell was like a nuclear explosion at this club. Jackson is nobody's puppet and so some good may come of it but it will probably be another shiitfight. I don't know much but I know this. When you have cancer you to cut it all out otherwise you are a goner. We didn't cut it out last time. Hopefully it aint too late.
