Langford had a very quiet game. Watched him closely on the replay and he was cruising. hmmm. Young player but I hope the coaches have a word

Exclusive Interview with Paul Guerra, Steven King & Steven Smith
There was not a lot of love from the other players towards Tracc. I'll leave it at that

No ones calling the results yet but if you read above I don't think we had a choice. Footy clubs are filled with people with passion and less so with pragmatic business decision makers. We have had a big clean out on and off the field and I am happy we can enjoy the ride once again,

Exclusive Interview with Paul Guerra, Steven King & Steven Smith
In the 6 months prior to starting I know he had many meetings with stakeholders to gauge the lay of the land. He walked most Thursdays with Goodwin around the Tan. My expectations of him were very low coming from an Industry Body and a non-football background but he hasn't placed a foot wrong yet IMO. And he has taken some bold decisions (and/or convinced others to do so) that I didn't see coming. Eg I thiought his 'closeness' to Goodwin would result in Goodwin staying. We all get wrapped up in the players but its the club I follow. Players come and go and whilst our Premiership heroes hold a special place once they start to destroy the fabric of the place and inhibit progress hard decisions need to be made. An outsider coming in (like a Peter jackson) can be more clear eyed about decisions that need to be made to move forward. Workplaces can become toxic - and the MFC clearly was both on field and off - leading to making tough decisions. If you look simply at the trajectory of our club on field it could not stay the same with any expectation of different results. I applaud the decisions whether or not they turn out to be the right ones. The whole vibe of the players and the club has been renewed and there is an excitement about the what is in store.

Of course. But with the hand we had I dont think they could have played it any better to this point Its all good in insight so why don't you tell us what you would have done differently?

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
The speed at which players were retreating after a turnover was insane. The focus to set the defence was huge. That will settle down after a few rounds I suspect but teams like Coll and Bris were happy just to chip it around their backline, changing angles and waiting for the right angle kick before pulling the trigger. Interesting watch and the better drilled teams seemed to come out on top.

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
We actually have an abundance of taller guys that can play down back so I think they are just taking their time as he missed valuable practice game time We have Petty, Lever, TMac, Turner, CJ, Taylor and Howes.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
No jargon, very honest and straightforward. A lot to like
-
Bailey Humphrey
Remember Geelong had the softest run in the league last year that allowed them to finish top They are coming back to earth quickly
-
Farewell James Harmes
They have been in the league for 49 years for 6 playoffs and no pennants Doesn't seem like a winning formula....

Make an outlandish prediction for 2026
My prediction is that by round 10 Tommy Matthews will have cemented his spot in the side.
