Jones, Dawes, Frawley, Garland were OK Our tackles were reasonably high and a few ferocious ones but couldn't count the number of times I screamed when they missed a tackle. I reckon it would have been approaching 100. The rest is not worth talking about.

Well it didn't kill Carlton, nor Richmond, nor Hawthorn nor GWS (why haven't they been investigated for tanking the Whitfield cup game last year??) We are the only team stupid enough to put it on record, have an dis-unified club AND picked poorly and failed to develop players. But none of that would really matter if we gave effort on the field. Our efforts are so poor (8 i50s in the first half last week?? Low tackling rates etc) that we are truly a laughing stock. We deserve it . Its indefensible. The whole club has to take responsibility for the shambles we have become. at this point we have no hope and that is a killer. All we are getting now is pity and ridicule. Can't say I blame 'em....

No there were multiple sources about the joke he made..... And a realistic decision has to be made as to whether he is part of the problem or not. Remember the Andrews Report......

He is not being judged on the next two games. Its the last 32 he is being judged on and unless something miraculous happens then he is gone .....surely. This is not just a team playing badly. You couldn't even call it a team. Its a bunch of young guys that have been left devoid of confidence, natural skills and heart. There is no effort. Week in week out we do not run, chase tackle, harass cover our man. Not elite skills required but commitment and effort, It has been sadly missing and the failure to take action could have bigger consequences for the future of the club and key players.

Sorry to nitpick but we have gone backwards in all areas. There is virtually nothing we have done that has been an improvement on field. Pretty much every positive statistical category we are worse off.

Our disposal Average if 105 less than our opposition. 105! That is an average - every week. The next worst is GWS at 61 then GC at 12. Nathan Jones is averaging 22 disposals a match. We are gifting our opposition 5 Nathan Jones's every week in possession. Its like we are playing a team with 27 players every week. AND when we do get our hands on the footy (not much by the way) we give it back to the opposition half the time. No wonder we are f*******d

DOn't know why this topic was taken down last night. More D'Land censorship???? Clarkson stated on OOC categorically that neither he or his manager were approached to coach the Dees. GLyon wouldn't answer a straight question last night on FC. Whats going on?? Someone is not telling the full story. We didn't speak to Ross Lyon and we didn't speak to Clarkson. How did out current coach get chosen again??? And this was after Bailey was chosen because he had a whizz bang powerpoint presentation. We need some answers because the boys club is crumbling....

Because you gift 72 games to a spud like Cale Morton and all of a sudden he becomes Superman when he ticks over the 100 game mark. FMD I used to scream at that and the "post of the century" on the 'other' supporter site. Its insane to think that games into players by itself is what separates a good team from a bad team.

Jobe Watson was also the focus when we played Ess. He had 12 disposals in the first 10mins. Their words are meaningless and have been for 6 years. "we are going to turn it around next week" "We didn't come to play and must lift our effort" Its all [censored].

the players are not performing. They are not giving the effort required. Its not fitness because you can see the lack of effort in the first quarter or two. How can we repeatedly start games and not give chase, tackle etc?? Neeld isn't telling em to play like that but he can't get them to play the way he wants (or in fact any way that resembles a pro football club)and has to carry the can. Our big problem is we have been there done this. Bailey was not performing and we ditched him. We then systematically went through players that did not perform for us in an effort to make us harder and more accountable. In theory fine. We now have to do this again. We have made an awful error with Neeld and have to ditch him as unpalatable as that is. We will be subject to further ridicule but really it can't be any worse than it is now. We need a tried and proven coach. Our last coach like this was Northey I think?? We simply cannot go with an unproven coach again.

N Jones had our most tackles at 7 Its pretty simple. You have to look at games like this and 186 and work out who tries. The ones that don't F*** them off. As for the coach. Well he can't coach. Talked tough. But was a failure. Am using past tense because he couldnt possibly be here beyond today. Should fly home separately.
