I have seen little finals footy and haven't read this thread so apologies if this has been discussed already but I saw some of the Swans GWS match and was flabbergasted at the umpiring decisions that handed GWS 2 goals when the match was on the line. The Heeney decision and then the Cameron tackle on Rampe I think were both diabolical decisions. At a time when the match was an arm wrestle the umps farked the game. The umps simply turned the match. I have since read that 'it wouldn't have changed the result' etc but I think that is tosh. Yes GWS looked to be the stronger, harder side but you could see it was a dagger to Swan hearts. Even the commentators at the time were aghast at the decisions. And watch the chorus of people who believe the AFLs busted love child have been gifted a flag or two when Stevie J gets hit with a feather or wet tram ticket as Old Dee would say....

We seem to be in the 'stop them in the middle and we will stop their talls kicking goals" category. It worked against Gold Coast but against the Weagles we lost the game because our defenders were bullied for easy goals. Maybe if OMac can put on 15kgs over summer that may fix the issue...

Tall defender is needed. We were creamed this year by Reiwldt & Daniher.

I agree, They should be the mainstay of our dfence and teaching the young guys. It's a travesty for the team that they seem incapable of playing that role.

Don't disagree with you there Mr H but I did notice on a few, probably 3 occasions, he could have forced the player with the ball over the boundary line and he was tentative at attacking the contest. The player kept the ball in play and got away. OMac has been guilty of the same thing. Not sure of they are being instructed to 'corral' them, whether they are nervous about being pinged for deliberate or whether there is a lack of urgency etc. They are both young and will learn but for mine they are slight flaws they both need to fix up.

Needs to tidy up his disposal by foot.

I thought it was interesting Frosty didn't feature in the top 20 after 16 or 17 games. And Oliver didn't really feature either. I know he didn't play a lot of game time but clearly has areas of his game they want him to work on. The result really tells you what the coaches are thinking and clearly they value Wagner a lot.......

3 people on DLand picked NJones to win. If he wins it will be an incredible achievement. Particularly after his injury plagued season last year. And many on this site still harp on about his disposal and his ability to perform week in week out. It's quite pathetic the level of disdain that is levelled at this bloke. Whether he wins or not tonight he is a super reliable champion.

Get the Richmond medics to have a look at him. That's one thing they seem to be able to do........

The investigation was quite short. It was from the time Caro called up the AFL and said these are the allegations what is happening with them. The report was handed down that evening. Now I hate to be sceptical, especially where the AFL is concerned but that's an interesting coincidence of timing after 16 months. I imagine we would be none the wiser if Caro had not have rung the AFL....

It's fair to say the folk at Windy Hill will be looking at how this is handled very closely.............

That is a poor example: Melbourne was a foundation club and is the name of the city where the game began. London has never had that.

And he has stuffed up any legacy he may have had at the Aints.

Shame on you for the missing out on the time honoured "process".

Wow. If that's it I am even more dumbfounded. You marry someone from another country and it's a sacrifice to go and live in the breadwinner's country?

CASEY SCORPIONS v FOOTSCRAY BULLDOGS - VFL FINALS WEEK 1
jnrmac replied to MadAsHell's topic in Melbourne Demons
You are showing your clear bias there. He was very good and named in the best in most match reports. He was named in the top 5 in the Demonland voting as well. -
I seriously don't get this. I get that footy is time consuming but he has said this over and over. Unless it is a pot shot at her to go and get a job or something.

And didn't this site go into meltdown when we missed Hannath yet what has he done at the Dockers?
