Yeah but on the North game his indecision at half back with 2mins to go basically lost us the game. Just sayin.... And don't mention the st Klda game...

And GWS has to shrink its list by 2 this year...

I wouldn't have thought so. We did win a final in 2006 you know.

Hibberd?
-
Because that worked so well for us................

The intangibles that people forget were that Woey was our highest paid player, the new TV rights deal had just been signed and there was money sloshing around everywhere and Freo were all over Woey and Farmer to return home. It was a distasteful episode but there is a back story behind it all that gets lost in time.......

3rd round 3y deal is my mail FWIW -
No, Brisbane haven't said that. Robbo said that of Brisbane. Big difference.

Sorry but you are kidding yourself. You're saying Hibberd is no better )or massive gain) than Wagner? Please. He is also certainly better than what Salem has shown. Yes, you put a caveat on it by saying 'if they step up to another level' but the statement IMO is plain wrong. He would be a very solid get for us and an upgrade on what we have. The second part I think you are over rating our list massively. We aren't that good and we have a number of very average players.

2016 Player Review - # 42 Josh Wagner (rookie list)
jnrmac replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Clearly a favoured younger player and did some really good things. Had some brain fades with his inside kicking. Fix that up and we have a good player. Saw him a couple of times trying to corral players near the boundary line instead of bodying them over the line. Cost a goal on one occasion I can think of. Needs to get a bit more urgent and physical but overall looks like a player. -
THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/afl-victoria-hire-former-essendon-football-manager-paul-hamilton-as-state-talent-manager-20161015-gs335g.html Now the VFL has hired the Bommers football manager from 2012 Paul Hamilton. The saga gets worse. What a shocking signal and a joke. Should be banned for life. -
Its not that simplistic, Look at I50s, tackles inside 50 etc. It's a big problem. These guys push up the ground and become part of the midfield press. They simply don't work hard enough. It is different in our wins or it is sometimes glossed over but if they continue to do it in our losses they will be ditched.
-
How do you get consistency out of this bloke? Kent and Garlett go missing big time in nearly all our losses.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
jnrmac replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
Its been said before but it was 2 weeks before Gillard called the election, Jason Clare and Kate Lundy were new ministers looking for a big statement and Eddie Obeid was on the front page of the papers every day wth his corruption trial. They were trying to clear the decks of Labor scandal so they could call an election. I am not into conspiracy theories except when it involves Labor politicians. -
Went to West Coast for pick 88!
