2019 best 22 and depth chart
Garlett is done. I am shocked he wasn't put out to trade. His last half of the year at Casey was woeful.

I think he was too open earlier in the week about: a) what we wanted for Hogan and b) the fact we couldn't get May without Hogan going. It painted us into a corner. But I guess that is his style and clubs generally have dealt well with us. GC were pretty patient its just that short statured person from Freo that was a complete muppet

So its being reported that Essendon and Collingwood both gave up 2x first round draft picks for Shiel and Beams respectively. We were shafted.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I'm hoping Andrew Brayshaw gets very homesick this year after his terrible incident with Gaff. Would only be right and proper that Freo let him come to Melbourne on compassionate grounds. We'd be happy to give you Bell-ends a future 4th rounder....

I'd be happy if TMac kicked 10 goals on his younger brother..

Farewell Jesse Hogan
I like the idea that there is some sneaky trade that is not out in the open. But I agree that player managers and list managers generally have loose lips around this time..... And we have done trades such as the Tyson, Salem trade that were never touted openly. Mahoney has said we have a number of deals that might fall in to place but we need to deal with the Hogan issue first so you can never say never.. .My guess would be pick swaps if we can deal with the Hogan issue sensibly....

I propose a straight swap with OMac...

Farewell Jesse Hogan
From memory he either said two high first round draft picks or two top 10 picks..I couldn't be arsed looking it up but feel free to flick back a few pages and you might find it....

Farewell Jesse Hogan

What do you care? There is plenty of speculation on here. SOme of us are happy to read it and make of it what we want. You sound like..............Peter Bell....

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Freo have offered Geelong pick 11 for tim Kelly. Let that sink in. they really are useless.

If you are talking about this trade period best you hold off until we can see the results. Otherwise he's doing great.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
So Freo demand and receive pick 2 for Lachie someone (a real superstar that I cant remember his name) and offer pick 11 and steak knives for a genuine, hard to get gun fwd. They deserve to win the spoon for 10 years trading like that.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
They had 6 which they have palmed off to Port. 5 would come from a Neale trade. They can't offer 5 if they don't have it. I suspect as a poster pointed out above they will come back late after a Neale trade trying to sweeten the 11 and a future 2nd rounder offer with 5 and a future 2nd rounder.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
AFL history is littered with clubs that thought they were close to a flag or the 'premiership window' as you call it, after playing a prelim and topping up. Not saying May isn't the right deal for us but it does pay to be cautious about what you get and who you give up. The FD has been pretty shrewd to date so I feel confident they'll do the right deal

Except we get him for nothing next year....

I think its more like percentage of the cap and length rather than actual salary. Subtle diff,,,

Farewell Jesse Hogan
We changed our game plan after the Sydney game - the last game Hogan played. We were much more patient, better at delivering the ball inside 50 and didn't defend so high. So it is not necessarily useful to speculate on Hogan's performance as he didn't play under those circumstances. When he played when were bombing the ball into our outnumbered fwd50 like nobody's business.
