The footy dept would seem to disagree, They got in Lever and now they want to get in May and KK. They aren't as confident as you clearly.

There is truth to the fact that weaker midfield running will result in higher i50s. But it doesn't obscure the fact that defenders have to be able to defend and ours aren't great. Its not that hard. in 2017 we were last for defending one on ones. I can't get the stats for 2018 but we are nowhere near good enough when the ball comes into the fwd line.

Yeah its a myth. We were 18th for defending i50s in 2107. We were 14th in 2018. The club is looking at Stephen May and KK (a half back flanker) has requested a trade to the MFC. Yeah our defence is all peachy.

Why the panic here? The club knows what it is doing these days. Nothing we write here will change anything and yet here we are at 190 pages...

He's good alright. But every year there is a mdeia frenzy about him returning home. The club would want to lock him in but if he won't initiate discussions maybe they have to 'force' the situation a little. The alternative says we wait until midway next year (with a massive media frenzy) and try to engage him on a deal....

Getting on the front foot probably allows us to fashion a better deal. In 12m time we might be snookered.

The more I think about this the more I feel it has been instigated by the club... They approached Jesse and said 'what are your plans going forward? If you are thinking of heading back to Perth it would be better for us to know now as we can do a better deal than in 12m time. Otherwise we will start discussions on a long term deal. We want you but understand you may be torn about staying. We're also planning our list for a tilt at the flag and don't want to disrupt it in 12m time.' Jesse thinks about it.
