  1. If our game against the Crows finishes at approx. 6pm tomorrow and we play the Shockers at 7.40pm AEST next Saturday, the gap equates to 6 days, 1 hour, 40 minutes. 6 day break. simple.
  2. Unfortunately, I think that it is still self-interest that causes a lot of our headaches when it comes our own performances.
  3. Yep once he goes, Montagna too, they are rooted.
  4. At least it will shut Shane Warne up. Thank God.
  5. Agree, once Saint Sook retires, they will fall in a heap, it will be around the same time as montagna as well, so that doesn't help them much either. I can see Reiwoldt playing in to his 50's as the Aints try and fail to find a decent replacement for him.
  6. This one hurts. Cowan has been head-hunted by Freo, a huge hit to our women's footy team, imo. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/melbournes-michelle-cowan-leaves-demons-for-fremantle-20160701-gpw8hz.html
  7. All this EBA postulating. It didn't stop Jack Viney from signing the dotted line.
  8. He kicked a good one against the Dogs R21 2005, though!
  9. If your scenario were to play out, Pick 1 would be overs for Prestia.
  10. Look where they are on the ladder, plus their past 2 years. The fact they haven't cracked 40,000 after such improvement says a lot. We'll crack 40k before them, next year will be when it happens. We start playing finals and we'll crack 45k.
  11. Well if we are to be honest, neither is Prestia
  12. Agree Bub. McDonald is not a #1 KPD. He will become much less of a problem for us if he were able to take a #2 or even #3 (Frost @ #2) KPF. He is the best overhead mark in our KPD stocks, so a similar role to what Rivers' played with us could really suit him.
  13. Agreed, he is very lucky. I would've suspended him for a week just because he has danced with the line of stupidity so many times this year already.
  14. give him an entire pre-season without any further hiccups and it will do wonders for him. He is coming from a very long way back, so give him time to adjust back to AFL level. There are plenty who i would cut before Trenners, so this is probably a discussion topic that should be brought up at the end of next year.
  15. Neither his decision-making or disposal has improved in his entire time at the club. There is only so much a coaching group can help improve/develop, but if you are lacking at these natural fundamentals so badly, you are never going to become even a good footy player.
  16. If Roos says that we were too tall and he picked the wrong team, i'm gonna loose it. I reckon after the bye, Goodwin should take over and Roos can be down on the bench.
  17. Wouldn't mind seeing the Crows get up this year. Play a good brand of footy, and it will stick it up Paddy 'Sooks' Dangerfield and his mate Joel 'i started the whole ducking fiasco' Selwood!!!
  18. If it's a PP they want, i'd only give them an after first round pick (not that it will affect us)
  19. I'd have Hogan as the CHF, his more natural position. Weed at FF, Watts is too valuable to be stuck deep forward so have him on a high roaming flank, Hulett as a FP maybe? Petracca Hogan Watts Garlett/Kennedy Weed Hulett It is very tall
  20. Extra picks isn't going to solve it for them, as most of the good kids they have selected have walked. This highlights a retention problem, so there is a need to have better quality people in charge of player welfare up there. Unless the kids are from QLD or have a strong affiliation with them (ie. Schache), most will probably want to leave. They have access to their academy kids, maybe they should be allowed to pay only 50% of the draft points as opposed to 80%.
