At that price, i'd steer clear.

Seriously guys, this is getting way off topic. Let's moooove it along so we can get back on track

I am pretty sure he is a member of all Victorian footy clubs. And done so for a while.
-
Maybe in terms of trading, Reid would come as a FA.
-
Thought it was mentioned that the one we were courting was a beer company?
-
You're right, he's worth more.
-
It always has been.

May as well write the year off now. Not a good look at all.

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised

Ok, i'll bite. At pick #9, who do you think we should have drafted instead of Weideman? -
Seriously $1.5m per year? I'd rather sign up a couple of quality younguns @ $750k each.

Agree Skuit. If it was a form thing, he would still be crashing into packs regardless. It's not that he's hesitant, more not capable at the moment. It is clearly a management thing, otherwise he'd be put on ice for a week or two.
-
If he didn't cost much (by way of chewing up too much of the salary cap). He would at least be another avenue to goal. Though i rate Jeffy more highly than Breust.
-
My bad, he is a part of their recruiting team, not their head recruiter. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/teams/north-melbourne/north-melbourne-signs-barry-prendergast-to-new-recruiting-role/news-story/8671b1ac182d1fedb091ed56c75a66ed

I get way more joy in knowing that BP is recruiting manager at North, than Mark Neeld being at the Dons.

JKH is the one obvious out for mine, possibly ANB. There may be more, there may not. Jesse will need more than a week to be ready mentally. As for Weideman, he needs to have a good month at Casey before being allowed back into the team. He needs to work on his agility and pressure, as he is a liability once the ball hits the deck. He needs to be banging down 2 doors worth, before he returns. He needs to get angry.

I think Clarry can be a little too prone to handball at times. Sure when teammates are put in to the clear by them they look fantastic, but at other times, he would be better off keeping the ball to himself instead of firing off a handball. He is a very good kick and should be also using that to his advantage as well. If he was able to have a higher kick to handball ratio, and slowly improve his tank, he would become a complete midfielder a lot quicker.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - ROUND 6

IMO, that is the best our back line has looked this year, but would put Hunt on the HBF and Vince up on the wing. -

Anything to even up our ledger this season. Would still keep the season alive -

Daniher always seems to play well on McDonald and against us. He is in some good form too, so that doesn't help. It doesn't help that TMAC is having a somewhat average year too. -
Just needs to get that BOJ sponsor sorted now

Another solid ruckman Another quality KPD A few more mids who can kick the ball.

This. It is the coaches not recognising the situation of the game, and acting accordingly. Apart from the first game of the season, i believe the coaching group has been rather underwhelming.
-
Totally agree. He's is mobile and a great user/thinker, but we need another option up forward. Even if Smith didn't get injured, he isn't the answer. We have Garlett and Hogan up forward, but when either one of them doesn't fire, we have too few to kick the necessary amount of goals to win. Pedo comes in for Spencer, so who comes in for Smith? Our depth is getting seriously tested, and it doesn't help when half the midfield decides to put in a poor performance either.
-
Why do we always have more that go up than stay down? I see it time and time again. Too many go up and don't win the ball, or at least kill the contest, then their numbers get the ball out the back. It's just stupid football. Our player's are as dumb as batsh!t and our coaches are even worse for not realising this and corrected for it.

Next week is our season, a little earlier than last year.
