I don't understand the question on his talent and or natural ability. Without having seen him in the TAC cup myself but knowing people who watched him regularly the consensus is he was a dominator at that level. He was also an early draft pick. Just because somebody gets the most out of themselves doesn't mean they were not talented to begin with. Talent and hard work combine to make A grade footballers and that is what we have in Jones.

I was at training where he dropped to his knees, stayed down for a few minutes and was clutching his hand. The trainers eventually came out to him and gave him pain killers after which he kept training. Coincided with his dip of form just after mid way through the year. You wont hear him complaining but I reckon he had a broken hand or at least a finger during that period. He will be a gun.

Everyone seems to rate Petracca highly. I can only go by the limited vision I have seen in the available clips. Looks big bodied, aggressive and seems find his own footy but I haven't seen him hit too many targets. Can anyone confirm he is at least reasonable by hand and foot?

I'm amazed no one has given Garland a vote. He seems to have the occasional brain fade, particualrly, when coming back from a few weeks off but he has a fluent action, is a booming kick and rarely misses a target when on song.

YOU hate to jinx him but... I haven't seen a midfielder that looks this good in my lifetime. Stynes a ruckman and Flower a wingman don't count as midfielders. Viney snr and Tingay were guns and Woey had 1 brilliant year but I think DT has all the attributes to take it to the next level.
