  1. I was going to say say the say thing. One up forward and one down back.
  2. IT would take me 15 minutes if I walking by myself, I'm pretty sure it will take alot longer with the entire red and blue army.
  3. Queen’s Birthday Blockbuster Get ready for our biggest game of our 150th year – our annual Queen’s Birthday Blockbuster against Collingwood – this Monday at the MCG. On the Monday morning before our Queen’s Birthday Blockbuster, we are calling on the entire Red and Blue Army to gather at Federation Square to celebrate our 150th Birthday at the Red and Blue Army Walk to the MCG. At least 100 past players - including Robert Flower, Shane Woewodin, Brett Lovett, Andrew Leoncelli and Hassa Mann - will be joining supporters from all over the world for the walk, and the first 500 to show up wearing red and blue will receive a free breakfast. The Red and Blue Army Walk to the MCG has been planned to provide all supporters with a chance to celebrate our 150th together. The Walk to the MCG and Queen’s Birthday Blockbuster will be preceded by what looms as one of the biggest nights in our Club’s history, when our 150 Playing Heroes are announced in front of over 1,200 guests at Crown Palladium.
  4. I'm not a Tasmania Hawks supporter. That's 4.
  5. I'll be there with mum, dad, sister and girlfriend.
  6. Bohdan cops a fair bit of flak on demonland and it could well be justified. It's difficult to judge the fitness staff without a some inside knowledge, from the outside it appears Bohdan is doing well. At the moment we have 1 soft tissue injury (Petterd) out of a list of 40 blokes. We've won 5 quaters of football for the year and 4 of them have been last quaters. Is this purely because other teams have been so far ahead by 3/4 time they've taken the foot off the pedal or are we running out games well? We certainly looked pretty fit in the last quater on Sunday.
  7. Do you even barack for Melbourne or are you just a sad person?
  8. I tend to agree with Axis of Bob's point of view. However, a season of footy is a long time and no decision should be made until after the Championships. I can't wait to watch them both later in the year.
  9. Couldn't agree more, I yelled Wonaeamirri everytime he went near the ball, great fun.
  10. Rhino, I thought you watched Sandringham? Newton has shown no defensive pressure in the red and blue but that has not been the case at Sandringham. He even went off injured for Sandy in one game when he dived a good 2 metres parrallel to the ground trying to tackle an opposition player only to spear his shouler into the goal post. He's played 10 odd games in the seniors and it hasn't clicked for him yet (besides mark of the year) but when it does he is a talent.
  11. You're kidding aren't you? 3 weeks into the first season is not a reflection on any player. Grimes is rightly being giving all the time by the club to get over his (non OP) injuries. You're kidding aren't you? 3 rounds into the season and we will go nowhere under Bailey?
  12. In standing room behind the goals, I can't remember what the end is called.
  13. I'm amazed at all the Newton bashing I've read in the post game threads. He certainly wasn't our worst and he's played less than a dozen games. Posters slaggin him off can do so at their own peril, he'll be a great player for this club.
  14. I've called Name a Game and happen to work in the same suburb (Cremorne) as their distributing outlet, so they have agreed to order a new copy for me to come in and exchange for my dud copy. I'm expecting a call from them some time shortly after Easter.
  15. After visiting bigfooty (unbearable boredom at work) and seeing Collingwood scumbag supporters claiming Daisey Thomas' scissor kick goal as the best goal ever, I couldn't help but purchase round 20, 1991 Melbourne v North Melbourne off the "name a game" website, to prove to every scum supporter I know Daiesey's was not the best goal ever, not even the best scissor kick goal ever. Unfortunately, the dicsc doesn't work well in my dvd player. I get to spots where it repeats, long stationary moments and other problems . Have other people had this problem with "name a game" dvd's? If I do eventually get it working, I'll try with my limited computer skills to upload 13 goals 8 worth of highligts onto youtube.
  16. I'm guessing Cale Morton's grandma
  17. Whelan rarely misses a target by hand or foot, the only problem is his body seems to be packing up on him.
  18. Same here I trained next door at Marcellin and have had run ins with him before. The guy is a [censored].
  19. Big difference mate Brock's indiscretion(s) were during his holiday time. From all reports Carroll was making a spectacle of himself last weekend (not for the first time) during the preseason.
  20. He's a goal kicker so I'd like to see him up forward but a forward line with Neitz, Newton, Robertson and Garland seems abit top heavy so I'm not sure.
  21. Thanks Mo. I thing Garland could be a real improver this year. He showed some glimpes of real class at Sandringham last season. From all reports he's really stacked on some muscle and is training the house down. Don't be surprised if he is a walk up start in our best 22 by the end of the season.
  22. Demonland, then demonology then the paper.
