Umpiring standard
There is no conspiracy by there is consistency we always get screwed at crucial times in matches. Happened twice now against Carlton. Petraccas goal and Clarrys tackle both not paid both were there. Both cost us the game

Umpiring standard
I dunno final round 2021 we had a deliberate and 50m penalty go our way. We win the minor premiership and go onto win the premiership. If that wasn't paid would we have gone on to win the premiership? Well never know thankfully. Decisions at crucial times influence matches and for whatever reason they seem to go against us more often than not by a multiple of about 10

Selection Integrity
Shane Wane played 6 state games for Victoria before he was selected for Australia despite his fotm not warranting selection. He was completely out of his depth when he made the Australian side and got belted all over the ground. That turned out pretty well in the end. Selecting for the future can be wise even if it's not the best for short term outcomes.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
It's lucky Xerri only knocked him out and had him carried off on a stretcher. If he called him gay he would have got 8 weeks. There is no place on footy for violence or homophobia but the disparity in penalties is mind boggling

TRAINING: Tuesday 8th July 2025
Maybe he should have more shots at goal with the soccer ball. I'd aim for the right post if I was him. Legend of the club and AFL but his one weakness is pulling the ball to the left when he kicks at goal

Rival Clubs Monitoring Jake Lever
We don't have to worry about rival clubs circling.

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Petty was ill when he came off the ground. Normally players want to come back on if they are not completely knocked out like Brayshaw. Petty was never coming back on you could see it when he walked off. This is not a knock on Petty he was our best before the hit to the head

PREGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Clarko will tear us a new one. Our new game plan looks good when we are winning but is horrible when we get found out. Chipping around the defensive half until we get an entry into the corridor and then that player kicks at an angle for a forward entry and then that player kicks at the opposite angle to pray for a forward target. It looks great when it works but when it doesn't you are so predictable and it falls apart

The List Manager
Our game plan doesn't look too bad. Our list management does. I know Spargo didn't play today and I love Bowey and McVee but it is clear we are too short across the ground. Who do we bring in Billings, Wowey, Pup or Laurie to fill the void? Hopefulyy Kentfield makes it and Kalani comes soon. We get obliterated by taller players.

Disco Turner Player Rating
I'd play him forward or on the wing or midfield. At least he can read the play and is clean with his disposal. I don"t think it matters where you play him

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I don't think anybody understands that rule including the players or umpires. The Oliver ones were blatant free kicks to him. The deliberate rushed behind rule is a lottery. Viney was lucky, I think. But how can you tell? They pay the decision about twice a year and was bought in to stop players kicking back through the goals to resest

My 3 word player analysis V Crows
He is too slow to chase and he can't play one on one with an opponent. He was a weapon whe he used to play loose and take intercept marks but nobody lets him do that anymore. He's not a great kick like May, Bowey or Mcphee. How often do you seem him kick out from full back? Never. How often does it get kicked out to him? Never. There is a reason for that

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
It didn't help when Oilver got 2 free kicks in a row against him that both should have been paid to him. One for holding the ball that was ridiculously paid head high tackle. The second he was being held out of the contest and got holding paid against him That changed the momentum of the game

My 3 word player analysis V Crows
No point talking short term. We have nothing left on 2025 besides making sure Essendon don't get a better draft pick

My 3 word player analysis V Crows
Two seperate issues. Jeffo needs to be played to give him a chance. I don't hold high hopes but he could come on with a bit of confidence. Lever is cooked. He needs to be played to try and get trade value for him. I great part of our premiership side but he has been found out and doesn't have enough strings up his bow. Tmac isn't the answer.

My 3 word player analysis V Crows
Oliver - did his job Chandler - played heart out Jeffo - not ready yet Lever - just too slow Goodwin - we didn't adjust

Guerra is making alot of moves before even starting. Nobody can be worse than Pert. I feel like all the Collingwood rejects infect us but at least Wright is going to Carlton.

PREGAME: Rd 17 vs Adelaide
I was at the practise match where AMW did his knee. It was sickening and happened right in front of me. It wasn't a turn of direction ACL his leg was twisted and it popped. Before that he was probably best on ground. Absolute walk up start for round 1 and Windsor could have perhaps played on a wing where he belongs
