  1. OUT: jones, hibberd, hannan, o mac IN: harmes, anb, fritsch, lockhart
  2. dunno don't look at usernames, just the flagellation like this: Hard to believe had we scored just 17 more points this year we'd be a game clear on top of the ladder!
  3. they're pretty good Our most pathetic performance of the season. Steele only one who can hold his head high. If King isn't ready for AFL football do not play him. Useless again. I swear to go the next person who says they'd still rather have picked Paddy over Petracca after he won the game off his own boot is braindead. Will rue that decision for another decade still. Reply: No one says that. We get enough Petracca circle jerk on the TV, stop. Wheels well and truely off the wagon. Goodbye finals. That’s finals finished, no chance we can beat GWS or Eagles. Did billings and Clark play? That’s life. It was an even money game so one wins an one loses. We couldn’t stop may. And it’s friggin August. When ever there is any expectation on this group and we start gearing up to make a play for finals they absolutely sh*t them selves. This senior group of membrey ross billings and geary are taking this club no where. They are no different to newnes and bruce etc. We have to churn them. Its the generation below that which will improve this club. Hill i thought was excellent. Also Jones disposal is a massive concern. Petracca single handedly beat us with his 4 goals.
  4. ratkins to gc17 according to kornes
  5. Richardson in the box That was an ugly win, but we’ve had two ugly losses to cats and bears so it’s all swings and roundabouts
  6. That was an amazing performance
  7. 6: May 5: Petracca 4: Salem 3: Lever 2: Oliver 1: Langdon
  8. jog brayshaw back to his standard poor performance tonight - stands flat footed at the contest and doesn't work hard defensively whatsover
  9. big second quarter coming up - another 4.0 to 1.3 would be handy
  10. thanks to peggy o'neal and neil balme, plus benny gale who - all things being equal - should be the next ceo of the competition
  11. gotta say, i find the constant referencing to gambling odds on this forum a bit yuck i have no trouble with people gambling, and i understand a lot of people love wagering, but given the dees' stance of 'love the game not the odds' i am not a huge fan of it
  12. a decade worth of senior coaching experience it also helps that the cats have so many experienced players out there on the park - they were apparently talking at 3/4 time about how it was 'win every quarter by two goals and we'll be back' i don't like the cats, but they are super organised, super professional
  13. that would've required us interviewing him... $cully and trengrove were the consensus 'can't fail' top two picks that year melbourne fc: hold my beer...
  14. the only thing i think i have ever agreed with leigh montagna about is that there's a LOT of very ordinary footballers on decent coin absolutely you should pay yr best 10 players big bikkies, but really everyone in that 11-30 range is interchangeable and should be lowballed at contract time
  15. nick riewoldt really sounds like a saints supporter
  16. essentially they rated trac higher as a player but he 'failed' one of those idiotic psychometric tests whereas mccartin 'passed' with flying colours in terms of the leadership he displayed etc article also says we were picking brayshaw and lever if trac went at #1 there's nothing in this story that hasn't been discussed on these boards in the past
  17. i agree he would bring a real work ethic to that side on the training track he was an inside mid his junior career, but i can definitely see him replacing the wantaway ratkins on the wing
  18. i for one welcome our new insect overlords
  19. don't care, my own eyes tell me ratkins is a lesser player
  20. atkins? no thank you - awful user of the ball by foot and soft as butter norwood and sturt should be fighting it out for his signature
  21. i think the denigration of membrey is ill-founded he's a pretty good forward, and would be starting 22 for most sides - certainly ours
  22. i wish! bassett is going to the crows as an assistant according to a mate of mine who tends to be right on these things thompson, bishop, and bassett were all huge losses to the mfc to the south oztrayan sides
  23. he's definitely a midfielder not a forward-type these days when he was in the forward rotation for the tigers he was in and out of the side, and was really inconsistent since becoming a permanent mid with edwards injured / not in the hub he's been outstanding he's worth a first round pick to the tiges i would think as he's a vital part of their side and i doubt very much that they'd give him up
