franchise not a club

i have no issues with jones wanting to go on; whether he does or not is another matter i don't like players being described as 'servants' tho - not many servants earn up to $800k a year at their peak
-
pretty significant change https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/afl-insists-on-six-month-payout-clauses-for-coaches-20200918-p55wu1.html

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
whatwhat say what replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
look for footscray and the filth to do some trading i reckon - dogs with the likely first pick this season (ugle-hagan) and pies with the likely first pick next season (daicos) -
he was beaten by joel smith he ain't all that and a bag o crisps
-
kennedy doubtful for the first week of finals
-
all teams this year have been announced the day prior to the game at about 6.20ish
-
this for me is why he's gotta go at the end of the season
-
still reckon we'll be playing bubble footy in 2021
-
Champion Data list ratings are based on rolling 40 game average so tend to be up to two seasons behind Hence why Kangas were rated far more highly than they deserved to be in reality
-
he's a typical melbourne player; has his best seasons in contract years

let alone john; only a single player named 'john' left in the afl -
disagree he conducted the internal review and relative status quo remained from 2019 to 2020, with the main change being richardson replaced mccartney, and got a five year deal too he can't possibly stay on given that, as you say, goodwin is likely going nowhere until at least part way through next season (results dependent) he can't possibly be left in place to evaluate the football department going forward
-
he's one of the highest paid players in the competition and wants to remain so his output and body language in games this year has been really poor no doubt he's a gun i'm guessing he'll go to the peptides, the filth, or the cats cos they don't seem to operate salary caps like other sides
-
peptides would be well within their rights to ask for brayshaw
-
mos def if we bring in saad on big coin i wouldn't want to be paying a part of t mac's salary somewhere else
-
but it'd be just shifting from one to another whatever we're paying t mac is not going to be significantly different to what we'd have to pay saad
-
has signed a three year deal with gw$ be interesting to see what that means for jeremy cameron...
-
saad for hawks' 2nd rounder would be okay saad for that and t mac is significant overs for mine if they lose daniher they'll need a tall to come - hell, they need one now, with hooker and hurley both closer to retirement than their best - as they seem to be lacking big players i still don't think saad is all that special
-
saad is incredibly overrated imo t mac has had a shocking couple of seasons but talls > smalls
-
overs straight swap

would like to know what the story says is he this year or next year? looks a bit like his old man -
don't rule him out earning it against the peptides
-
Biggest issue for mine is his refusal to take the front spot as a forward He lacks defensive intensity but he’s hardly alone there; it’s something our whole side needs to improve on I still think he’s a huge part of our side going forward
-
very much doubt they can afford him with signing up grundy to a big deal, and the likes of moore, de goey, mihocek, and daicos all out of contract this year
