i said thin not scrawny! -
i just can't see how we're going to compete with their depth of midfielders fyfe, mundy, walters, brayshaw, serong, cerra vs oliver, petracca, viney, langdon we're going to be VERY reliant upon melksham, avb, anb, tomlinson, baker and perhaps even salem and rivers contributing well
-
that was one of mike's more light weight interviews i reckon he's been spooked a little bit since mark jackson went troppo at him a few years back

our midfield is looking very, very thin -
There is no way Carlton would let him go
-
aints won't lose hawks were competitive in the first half with the other mob going at half-pace
-
he's pre-free agency this year he is - like josh kelly at gw$ - one of those players with a weird structure to his deal so that he actually comes out of contract at the end of 2021 despite having a further few years to run on his deal after that why anyone would want to move to melbourne (the city as much as the club) at the moment i don't know i mean, really, they're all going to be playing outta queensland again in 2021 anyway... another option for outside run could by tom phillips at the filth; did his hammy this round and they've got oodles of father-sons needing to be played as outside mids, so he might be a possible target
-
it's pretty clear we're going to be light on for midfield rotations against freo basically the only genuine centre square players left are the core trio of oliver, petracca, and viney this round i would like to see the likes of anb (who played midfield his entire junior career), melksham, avb, perhaps even salem and rivers rotated in there
-
Hore has not played a game of footy for over a year If he’s straight back into the senior side we really are in trouble
-
three clearest needs: - key forward (hogan? brown? daniher?) - left-sided outside mid (polec? gaff?) - defensive rebound (williams?)
-
fortunately it's completely irrelevant for us as we won't be there

2020 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
whatwhat say what replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
if the dogs and the filth are smart they'll work a way to 'game' the system for 2020 and 2021 so that the pies end up holding the dogs' 2020 first rounder and the filth the dogs' 2021 first rounder so that they use back-ended points in picking the kids who're rated likely #1 picks in their respective years that they have early access to them i have no probs with the pies getting access to the latest daicos coming thru next year, but the dogs having priority on jamara ugle-hagan is just absurd -
it's "the rotting corpse of ol' fitzroy" and "the filth" but other, 100% agree
-
the teams in 7-13 really aren't set to compete this season
-
i still want to know if the $100k hits the footy dept or the player's ONLY they've said that stack and cc-j will cover $75k of the $100k - does that mean it's 'only' a $25k hit to the richmond footy dept. soft cap in 2021?
-
the only players i'd list as absolutely keepers would be: may petracca jackson lever gawn oliver langdon rivers pickett everyone else is expendable or can be replaced with another b-grade equivalent, and the three youngsters are only on this list cos they show some promise going forward that being said, if freo were to offer fyfe and hogan for jackson, for instance, you'd be a fool to say no it comes back to the leigh montagna theory - pay yr best players big coin to hang around, cos the majority of the next tier and down are completely interchangeable around the league
-
serong is a midfielder not a forward
