  1. Roos does not need a mentor or overseer. That is clear.
  2. Robbie Flower Seriously, when we cut Petterd I maintained that he would be the only one I thought we could be hurt by if he was able to stay on the park.
  3. Yep has all the tools and just looks like he will become a player. I'll take another 5 please.
  4. I remember having this discussion with you about Hannebury also. Would you give up pick 2 now. I would. Sloane for pick 2 is a win - win for mine.
  5. While I think the football director's role is important my feeling is that it is not as crucial with Roos at the helm.
  6. I vouch for myself. I masturvouch.
  7. I vouch for RPFC
  8. Pretty good stat from 8 games.
  9. Librarian?
  10. I would like to see Clisby elevated, of the three being discussed I think he may end up the better player.
  11. If we make the finals we could lose one The fish could be biting on Grand Final day We have become comfortable with failure....insititutionalised in it.
  12. Have read this twice....? If Roos wants him and he wants to stay, I would offer a year, that is plenty of time to see if he has the snickers. But the way contracts work they will probably have to agree on 2.
  13. The question is ..What midfielders could now be lured to a club which is effectively controlled by the AFL and coached by Paul Roos?
  14. Behold the coming of Roos. He will restore speed to the slow, hope to the hopeless, courage to the meek and vision once again to the corridor.
  15. It must not fail. And we have became the AFL's project and we know that the AFL does not like it's projects to fail.
  16. Gut says yes. Hard and gets footy and is from all reports a quality bloke. Obviously the brains trust needs to assess where he sits in terms of priorities.
  17. His failure to manage his list has cost him his job, specifically the Fevola debacle and his attempt at trying to squeeze out another flag of his ageing stars by supplementing his list with NQRs. He should have begun a rebuild earlier and this cost him....but is he a failure at coaching? Perhaps he weilded too much power over the construction of his list? Some young players have developed very nicely under his coaching. Surely it is worth investigating? I expect that he has learned some lessons in list management in the last few years.
  18. He screwed up the list he made some whopping mistakes, but has he failed at coaching, specifically development? Surely he could be spoken to.
  19. FMD I 'd be happy with some average players to replace the below standard ones. But yeah I get the gist.
  20. Him not being selected this week is inexcusable unless it's for some disciplinary reason or for some reason he doesn't want to play.
  21. Some bizarre selections and non-selections. Just over it all.
