Chris Johnson just said on 3AW he would not expect to see JW til mid season after that effort and who could argue. He had become a liability and needs to get a little confidence at Casey. Was a pretty horrid game of footy but we are seeing some good signs, particularly our pressure at times. A big crowd gathered around the bar in the Olympic stand to watch the boys sing the song without any volume! The cheer that went up when they finished was awesome! My faith in footy is restored!!

With Carlton getting a lasting in the media they could not have asked for a better opponent to redeem themselves. Whilst I won't enjoy it, I'd settle for a 6 or 7 goal loss.

Played in a losing U20s GF, won BOG award which was a pewter mug which came with a beer shouted by each player in the team. Was probably 15 beers in but i still remember yelling "siren" just before Jimmy created history. Sat there silent with tears rolling own my face for 10 minutes......drank remaining 6 beers

I'd be more than happy if this is true. Out of all the delisted players currently he'd be the most suitable for our needs and i imagine he would barely put a dint in our salary cap. Despite his age he would easily be in our best 10 players next year and bring some leadership that we desperately need

I can't believe most people are surprised by us being investigated, was always going to happen once the EFC drama came to a head. I'm not overly concerned though. The AFL know that taking away draft picks from us now would only make us less competitive, uglier to watch and absolutely completely irrelevant in the League. If we take any more hits we'd be finished and the media rights deal can't allow that to happen.

I'm sure there would be some thinking along the same lines but you can't fake that sort of emotion. As she said, they've been gagged all along but seeing Hirdy cry poor me last night looks like it will be the tipping point for parents and I'd hazard a guess a lot of the players!
