I was in the Percy Beames bar WYL, all friends family colleagues etc were inside the members dining room, so I'm not sure, however he was mentioned twice during the service so u would not be surprised if he was in there. T Viney said during his speech that Robbie loved playing with Big Carl!

I too was at the G today and felt priviledged to be there. His brother Tom spoke beautifully, i struggled to stop the eyes welling with tears when he said he didnt just lose a brother, he lost his hero. All who spoke today held themselves together beautifully, but had moments where they could not hold back their emotions. Mike Sheahan probably most notably of all speakers when he told of how Robbie asked Mikes permission to chat to his daughter about an illness she had been dealing with at the time. Greg Shaless read his ode to Robbie Flower whilst they played highlights of his career...again i struggled not to cry. A beautiful service, but such a sad loss for his family and friends. It seems the genius we all know who owned the members wing at the G was just as idolised by those that had any dealings or contact with him in life away from the MCG. I have no doubt there will be a statue somewhere near that wing in the near future! We will all miss you Bob. Thankyou for the many memories of you that can never be erased from our minds.

I've thought ever since Roosy joined us that he will eventually snare a big name from the Bloods. He'd still be close to a lot of players there! Buddy n Tippetts wages simply must squeeze someone outta there, someone whose wage we could pretty much double. Please let it be Luke Parker!

You were a hero to so many Robbie. You were mesmerising, graceful, loyal, one of a kind and yet so humble. Thankyou for all the joy you gave me at the footy when the team was abysmal. This is a tragic day for the MFC.

I switched to the NRL I was that bored watching. Such a putrid venue, so hard to get excited about watching a game of footy played out there and this game was ordinary!By the way, NQ Cowboys robbed for the 3rd year in a row by refs the poor buggers

If anyone told me at the start of the year we would beat Carlton, Richmond, Essendon, Adelaide and had Port on toast twice, I'd have told him he was dreamn! So we beat 2 finalists, should have been 3! I expected 4-6 wins and we probably should have had more than that realistically, so it's a pass for me but gee the last 2 months have been soul destroying!

Would not be surprised if all of them are up for trade! Funnily enough, I think Trenners might be the only one I hope we keep. I just think if this recent foot op solves his speed and acceleration, we could have a star in a few years. I'd say based on NSCs OP and his inside knowledge that Watts is all but gone! I'd take any 1st round pick, possibly early 2 nd round! I hope we have 15 new faces next year.

Have heard from someone close to family that they are hopeful that only a clean out will required which sounds more like cartiledge strain to me, however they won't know for sure until tomorrow. Let's hope that's all it is as he'd barely miss pre season if that were the case!
