  1. As bored as I've ever been at the footy. There would not have been 5000 Dees fans at the G. Far wiser than me.
  2. Really not sure why I came here today this is awful. Decent crowd for this weather but if be surprised if there were 5000 Dees fans.
  3. My sources tell me he is changing his name to Henry Sniff....
  4. Great game of footy against a quality opponent. Very proud of the boys today. Not amongst the best but loving seeing Roo compete like he does and slowly coming out of his form slump.
  5. Complete opposite for me. It's the first time I've felt invested for months and I'm really looking forward to how they respond. It will be very tough without May/Lever up against 2 of the in form forwards in the comp. I genuinely feel for Goody as well wodja but we were going backwards. It was not all his doing but it was well over time for a change and it's time for all of us to get behind the players and enjoy where this next chapter takes us.
  6. Pies fans cheered Maynard after knocking out Gus and booing Newcombe for knocking out Howe. Absolute scum
  7. Im okay. This had to happen in order for us to turn the corner but I do feel it's a long , wide corner we need to get through. We are a fair way off being a top team again. I do feel for Goody. The club just seems so unstable and it's not all his doing that lead us here. I hope his replacement gets a revitalised, stable group behind him. End of an era, but it's a new dawn.
  8. Goody delivered us a gift that had been missing from all our lives and most of us thought would never occur. From the bottom of my heart, thankyou!
  9. Thanks Simon. Delivered a flag that I never thought I'd see in my lifetime and I will be forever grateful. Strange timing but It's the right call however, it is simply not just Goody that needs replacing. Whoever we get as coach, I hope he gets a complete overhaul of assistance coaches and just as importantly, a solid and united board CEO and President to stabilise what really has been a shameful rabble for several years
  10. Good response by the boys although first half was truly awful. Clarrie and Trac coming back into a bit of form would be a great way to finish an disappointing season from both. Looked invested in the second half which is promising! Culley, well done young fella
  11. If it means we make the call on Goody then yes for me. The sooner change is made the better. If sacking SG means some players get upset that's fine too, they can go as well. We are going nowhere but backwards until major changes are made.
  12. It's really an incredibly sad state of affairs. Two of the best Demons of all time and both want/ed out of the club. I was filthy at the way Trac made it all public but who could blame him. He wants professionalism and we are nowhere near it. One or both have to go and yes their value has plummeted. If they both stay I expect more of the same on and off the field. Problem is I have zero faith that our club will make the right call such is our state of affairs which has festered for years now.
  13. That's fine if you accept mediocrity DZ. These decisions are part of the reason we are miles behind the teams contending and we remain bottom 6 for who knows how much longer.
  14. Me either. Would sit right up there with diabolical decisions such as Hunter, Billings, Fullarton, Sharp, Dunstan and Schache.
  15. Similar Doc. My boys are 13 and 15 and have lost all interest. As have I....and I've barely missed a home game in 20 years since I returned to Victoria.
  16. I couldn't care less who the interim coach is. Throw Choco in there for 4 rounds. The search should have started at 0-5 and as others have mentioned we need to move now before Carlton do. Sad thing is he'll probably see the year out because our ship is rudderless and our leaders are asleep at the wheel.
  17. I feel for anyone who made the effort. Particularly the children that sat thru that last quarter. What a traumatic experience and will get worse for them at school tomorrow morning.
  18. Aaah that's be zero goals to us junior..... putrid
  19. Embarrassing and shameful. If only we had a competent board/CEO to make the call tonight.
  20. Now would be the right time Simon. Do the honourable thing. Thanks for the flag but this isn't working anymore. We are a laughing stock and you'll only do more damage sticking around now.
  21. Im a trident member and pay a significant amount to the club, and have been for 20 years. Been a supporter for 50 plus years. I have rarely missed a home game in all that time including the darkest Neeld era but I've never felt this disinterested in the club. I have not been arzed to go to several games this year due to the direction we are heading and the head in the sand response from the club. Senior players bar a couple don't give a stuff. Why should I.
  22. Geez we are amateurs. Reeks of desperation and Goody trying to eek out a win at all costs. At least he played better than Brent Moloney in THAT game.
