  1. It's pretty hot to be fair. Bet the ground is packed camera side just like our game at the G last week.
  2. The first QTR was really ugly we were lucky we were not 10 goals down . It was Neeld esq. I was pretty happy after that we dominated 2nd but didn't capitalise and gave them 2 late goals in last 2 mins after barely going inside 50. We are miles off Freo quality and that's ok. Happy that we didn't roll over. We definitely looked gassed early which is odd as we ran the game out well against Saints after a pretty hot day . Disco was among our best when we lost him so that hurt.
  3. Hayden Young out doesn't hurt. Very good player when fit.
  4. He also kicked probably the best pass of the day inside 50 into space for Roo punt Rd end in the 2nd QTR. It was sensational.
  5. What a ripper game of footy by both teams. Stoked for the win. So much to like. Massive team effort. Not amongst the best but shout-out to whipping boys Petty and also Kolt for keeping Nas pretty quiet for a superstar.
  6. Not sure he is physical enough Picket. Langers gave Daicos the hardest tag I reckon he's ever received, reckon he's the man.
  7. So who is tagging Nas? Langers? Perryman probably won Pies the game he did such a good job on him. Be interesting to see if King is a believer in tagging?
  8. Maysie was instrumental in bringing a hard edge ruthlessness to our team that had been missing for an eternity. He demanded excellence from his teammates. Was a sight to behold in his prime and I lived watching him play. Was a huge part of our premiership and I'll be forever grateful he became a Dee. I hope he has a healthy, happy life beyond footy .
  9. They have already been robbed of a 2nd 3peat thanks to some very questionable umpires in 2023 against Pies.
  10. Terrible timing and bad luck for the young lad. Also concerned for the well-being of Mr P Fence. Someone needs to check in on him....
  11. Half of footy maybe all they wanted from him after slow pre season?
  12. Nah not brave just realistic and wiser as I get older. Would love to be proven wrong but just can't see it. There are too many teams well ahead of us. Bullish for 2027. The brave are those that join the game day thread.....and the delusional. It's comical at times.
  13. Absolutely if they give us all I mentioned. It's not about wins n losses for me this year.
  14. Look after yourself Chompers. You'll be a hero for Dees fans forever...thankyou
  15. Going to be a long year if you're expecting success this year. Give me games into kids, team cohesion, 4 QTR efforts and enjoyable footy. We are bottom 6 at best and that's ok. 2027 I expect us to be right back in contention for finals and we'll be fun to watch again
  16. "A man's gots ta know his limitations!"
  17. Mongrel no, but as fearless and courageous as I've ever seen.
  18. Makes sense. Some of his efforts this year were really poor. Looked like a player that didn't want to be there but hey we had a few of them didn't we. Some gratitude to the club would not have gone astray but I don't want one single player on our list that is not invested. My only concern is that SMay doesn't stink it up if he ends up playing at Casey but he seems to have taken the feedback well. The freshness of the club is a relief, happy to see the back of Judd type players who aren't on the bus.
  19. We are likely still bottom 6 or at best bottom 8 but I'm not worried, in fact stoked with the changes been made. A lot to look forward to in the coming years.
  20. I think we have an absolute ripper here, love his swagger and his highlights look sensational. His comment about best on and off the field is not surprising and not far from the truth according to a work colleague. Am told he definitely enjoys himself off the field but has improved recently . I'm sure the club would be well across this.
  21. I thought that was the best game of AFLW I have ever watched. Dominated the 3rd QTR but didn't take their chances and you cannot do the against arguably the best team ever in the comp. The girls should be super proud of their effort today. They simply ran out of gas and North took control in the last 7 or 8 minutes.
  22. Great to hear. Was bizarrely dropped for an unfit Lever after being in great form. He is still a lock in my team next year and with his fitness, attitude and work ethic he may still have a few seasons in him.
  23. There's only one worth considering if not Enter Sandman...... Hell ain't a bad place to be 😎. And please play the whole song and only play Grand ol Flag when we win.
  24. Correct decision has been made. I am just grateful he didn't end up at Geelong, that would have the bitterest of pills. I won't begrudge him a flag at the Giants. Go well Clarry.
