Our season is completely unacceptable and yet many choose to accept that it was OK under the circumstances due to covid, travel factors, 4-5 day breaks etc. It was a failure. We are still devoid of leadership, still make mind boggling team selection and still fail to stop teams when they are on a roll. The only positive for me was the potential we've seen in our first 3 draft picks and the recruitment of Langdon. Sadly, it hardly even hurts any more, we've seen the same [censored] show on high rotation for 50 years. At least we've got learnings.

I know Freo are trying to help us out but they didn't need to mimic our gameplan of allowing the opposition to smother with ease, bombing into the F50 and not stopping the opposition when they get a run on.

Can't remember us recruiting a kid defender who looks as poised as Riv in his first year. His maturity is beyond his years and has not looked out if place since his first game. Has already become one of those players who make you relax when he has the footy.

If Giants beat Saints by 3 goals for example, red have to beat Essendon by roughly 6 goals. Yes it's a tough ask but it is possible. Will be barracking hard for Giants next week!

That's a big win by Pert and MFC under this current climate and an under performing footy team. Credit where it's due.

In my opinion he's looked a little distant this year despite having a reasonably good season on the field. I look back at the vision of Max being announced as sole Capt. and I reckon it's cut him pretty deep and may well have been a catalyst for him to reconsider his future. Alternatively, maybe he's sick of our mediocrity and wants a flag? We need to give up some quality to get some outside run or another KPF and this might turn out good for both Jack and the club.

Not necessarily, there is currently a 57 point differential in our percentage. Depending on how much Gws beat them we'd need to win both games by around 9 goals combined currently.

I'll watch with zero expectation tonight. Don't let Freos ladder position fool you, took it right up to Richmond til late in the game and they have played some pretty good footy the last 5-6 weeks. I rate them higher than The Swans. Based on efforts last week we are so far off being a serious finals contender that it may be a blessing missing out. Beggars belief we are in this position once again.

Has there been a response from anyone in the media or AFL? I couldn't believe how quickly the commentators dismissed the vision when it came back after the decision. Even my 2 young kids were adamant it hadn't crossed the line.

I urge anyone with Kayo (and I assume fox footy) to listen to the matches through the radio links on the AFL website . You can choose any station that airs the game and play it through your Bluetooth speaker. You'll just need to pause the TV for about 15 seconds to sync it up. I refuse to listen to any match with Bruce now and even Huddo who seems to love to see us fail and sounds condescending at times. I can't begin to tell you how much more of an enjoyable experience it is.
