Frees were 28-17 our way. We were dismal and got what we deserved. I do however agree with the OP and that free for out of bounds decision being reversed even though it was the correct decision in the end. Don't think I've ever seen an umpire change his mind because a player questioned the decision before in my life.

Just keep in mind they've flown across the Nullabour 4 times in 7-8 days, you could see they were spent in the last 10 mins. Still a massive threat with several stars to return.

This is why we are so good this year, we have so many guys playing career best footy, even our best players have improved. Spargo comes to mind but it’s hard to go past TMac. We tried to shop him off and pay some of his salary yet nobody was interested such was his performances for 2 years. He has turned several games this year, and been a match winner, could not be happier for him.

I struggled to sleep last night I was that excited by what we displayed. Brisbane rattled us with pressure in the first half and we looked panicked coming out of the backline which was not surprising considering it was 18-32 inside 50s. We lost our structure and gameplan because of their pressure. 2nd half was premiership football. We played on our terms and completely dominated the 2nd best team in the comp in my eyes. I’ve been loathe to say it but my lid is now completely prised off. I see loads of improvement left in us and if we execute our gameplan nobody is beating us! Tell me I’m dreaming!

Yeah I’m starting to feel a little more confident today. Besides there after the siren win against an average Collingwood, have they won outside of Qld, I don’t think so. Also , we are not favourites any more so even more reason to be confident. Will be tight but we can win this!

I agree, it’s impossible to get the votes right as there are so many deserving. I’d be really surprised if Harmes doesn’t get the 10 from the coaches though, his performance on Borat was a game changer

We will look back and think of that loss last week as the best thing that could’ve happened to us. We didn’t play great footy and a loss was looking likely for a few weeks. It was the rocket we needed. Last night was clinical. Doggies have been towelling teams up and we made them look very ordinary, similar to what The Tiges did to them in the 2nd half. What excites me is how much improvement we’ve got in us. Lots of players dropped simple marks that would’ve lead to goals. Max dropped some sitters. Weed was getting to all the right places but just couldn’t clunk them. He will soon, that little 2 mins from him sealed the game and his confidence will be sky high as a result. Absolutely stoked with how we dominated a premiership favourite. We need to back it up next week though otherwise we stay with the pack, if we win we are a serious threat and deserve outright favouritism for the flag.

The 2 non decisions discussed here are appalling but there is another I’m yet to see mentioned which happened immediately prior to the Out of bounds... the push in the back when Kozzie attempted to mark the ball. You can see him ask the umpire using his hands asking why it wasn’t paid. Am I alone here noticing this??

Sorry I only just saw this. Real good seats on half forward flank Punt Rd end members side, but I think you just might miss cover. 4 or 5 rows behind you are probably undercover from memory. Should be all Dees there usually!

What seats/section Cards I have a reasonable idea

GA members don’t have reserved seats though. A few of us have premium memberships with reserved seats and want to sit with children who are not premium. It can’t be done with this new system.

Begs the question if it’s done individually how do people sit together if they are not reserved seat holders?

I got same email but I logged into mobile membership as per the instructions and the ticket is showing as available in 1 day , 1 hour, with a countdown clock. Give it a try?

I’ve had issues this morning! I’m a Premium Member but want to take my 2 boys. In previous rounds I’d forgo the premium seat and sit with them in GA. ive just logged in and put in the 3 barcodes, same ones for every game this year and mine is invalid. I can only assume this is because of the new process of having access to my reserved seat which is not available til tomorrow! So I’ve grabbed 2 tickets for my boys in the same gate, will grab my reserved seat tomorrow thru the MFC app and just hope there is a spare seat next to them.

How I miss guys like Drew Morphett, Pete Landy, Sandy Roberts, Lou etc. 7 is just about unlistenable. Cringe worthy! Id rather listen to Gary Dempsey commentate lol .... Anyone remember his one game he called?

Let him grow into the role. Tommo is a big loss and we can’t expect Petty to have the same impact but I expect he will settle and be very good for us. It’s not a role we should chop n change unless he is comprehensively beaten and he hasn’t been as yet. That was as physical a game I’ve seen us play in a while plus it was wet, there will be some very sore bodies such as Trac. I expect a few ‘managed’ next week. Real happy it’s a Sunday game for the extra rest.
