Jaded, I understand what you're saying but I don't think it's as big a concern as you think, for a couple of reasons. 1. MFC are the real deal this year and I believe we can win the flag regardless of where we play. 2. A Victorian based team was able to overcome bigger obstacles last year (and beat another Vic. team in the GF). MFCSS and COVID are a deadly mixture! ?

Maybe so, but the point I was making is that the umpires stuffed up and it's not a symptom of some giant conspiracy or bias against MFC. Stop being a sook.

You think there's a bias against us? Every team has supporters that like to think that. There's an old saying that given a choice between a conspiracy and a stuff-up, always go for the stuff-up (umpiring error in this particular case). Or, as Hanlon's Razor would have it, "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity". This notion of the umpires or the AFL being biased against us is as nonsensical as the supposed curse afflicting us and is a symptom of a pathetic, self-pitying victim mentality. We are better than that, as evidenced by Goodwin's refusal to blame the umpiring at the end of the Crows game.
