  1. I was agreeing with Dee Dee and hanging it on those who call footy "AFL".
  2. I thought exactly the same thing this morning Dee Dee when I slipped down to the local swimming pool for a nice spot of FINA.
  3. I'm with The Jackson 6 on this. These types of promos are usually a little cringey and this one is no exception.
  4. * Tayla Melbourne leading 3.1.19 to 1.4.10 at half-time. Game being broadcast on afl.com.au.
  5. Now that's what I call flooding the backline.
  6. I've heard that Grindr can get pretty tense at times.
  7. ... and here he is in 2072!
  8. I think that's his dad on the right in this image.
  9. We won the penultimate in 1988 and 2000 by winning the Preliminary Final. We didn't win the ULTIMATE until 2021 after 57 years of failure. Love your work, Picket! Don't let a pedant like me restrict your creative output. Incidentally, you'll be thrilled to hear that I bought a new t-shirt this week.
  10. $100 used to be a silverfish or a grey nurse, but they went and changed the colour of the note.
  11. Ineligible, chook. He played in a premiership side.
  12. If Jimmy Stynes was to play, whose spot would he take? Surely neither of Gawn or Jackson.
  13. Played in a premiership with Carlton, alas. Like many others who have already posted, I couldn't go past R. Flower as my choice.
  14. Despite him already taking out Ben King in a training "accident", nobody seems to suspect that he is subtly working undercover for his beloved Demons, to whom he shall surely return in a couple of years and become a star for us.
  15. Nick Smith was the 426 man.
  16. Cut the poor bloke some slack here. Ronny might have seen a picture of the black and blue Port Adelaide jumper and thought that University were still in the competition.
  17. After all this discussion about Luke Dunstan, I still haven't learned the most important piece of information. What is his nickname?
  18. Switkowski's stellar season consisted of twelve games for nine (count 'em, nine) goals so how can that possibly qualify him for the status of elite compared to other forwards? Their ratings are laughable.
  19. * checks to see when we play Carlton ... and it's not until round 22. Oh well.
  20. I don't know what their definition of "elite" is, but it's comical that they could include such plodders and no-names as Jeremy Finlayson, Sam Switkowski, Lincoln McCarthy, Zac Williams, Nick Hind and Dylan Moore. Jack Sinclair gets the nod but his team mate Jack Steele does not. The whole thing is risible.
  21. Might you be thinking of round 23? We belted them all night in the Prelim.
