You keep forgetting that $100 of that was his to start with. He punted the $100, had a win/early payout (same thing) and got back $2,300. He only wins $2,200. He's not $2,300 in front overall. Sorry WCW, but you clearly don't understand the difference between odds and payout. In a previous life, I worked as a bookie's clerk so I know what I'm talking about.

Incorrect. If he had lost the bet, he would have lost his $100 stake. By being paid out, he gets back that $100 plus the $2,200 winnings = $2,300 payout. It was $2,200 winnings against $100 outlay, or 22/1. Great effort nonetheless and well done to those who had the courage to back us. Enjoy your winnings!

Petty doesn't rack up a lot of possessions but, more importantly, neither does his opponent and that is the key job of a defender. He's coming along OK and should only get better with more experience at this level.
