I too hope they get another opportunity, but with great respect to their efforts at Melbourne, I hope its at another club. I'd rather have the list space to punt on an 'unknown quantity' with a 10% chance of making it, and a 0.5% chance of becoming a gem.

In another thread, 'inanunda' stated that it was time for us to 'grow a pair'. We just grew 'em!

No thanks. I'd prefer to take a punt on an 'unknown' with potential, rather than a known quantity who has fallen a long way short of expectations.

Age and week- in, week-out 'batterings' have caught up with Jonesy, and it shows. He's had opportunities to move to 'greener pastures' over the years, but he chose to stick with us, and I'm pleased that his loyalty has been rewarded with a contract extension. I hope he can add the 300 milestone to his already decorated career. We know that he will always give 110 %.

All of the above. Great interview. Restored some 'lost' belief in our coaching and playing groups, and very importantly, 2020.

If Steven May can get fit, and stay fit and on the field, he will be worth something near what we paid for him. He's a long way behind the ledger right now.

I've always known of Danny Frawley as a champion footballer and media personality, but it was only after reading the words and sentiments expressed in these pages, that it hit home that he was also a champion person. Bluey was a 'great' of the Melbourne Football Club during it's greatest era. I'll always have fond memories of him speeding up and down the wing at the 'G', and delivering the ball with precision to our forwards. A sad loss. RIP Bluey.
