  1. Depends on the 'baggage'.
  2. I love it! Both teams at near full strength. Should be a good contest and go some way towards sorting the real contenders from the pretenders. I think we are the former!
  3. Really enjoying this thread. Seeing a different side of one of my favorite players makes me love him even more!
  4. ..... also, it's when and where the frees are paid. I'm sure the umpires seek to square up the free kick count late in games. I've often observed a late flurry of frees to a team which brings the ledger closer to square at the end, than it was at (say) 3/4 time. We are most often the 'victim' in this scenario.
  5. As always, great listening guys. Thanks.
  6. Really looking forward to it Andy. You beat me to the punch with the Burgo question ..... especially fitness level of the team now compared to 2018. Does he attribute this to the way we have been running out games lately?
  7. 6. Oliver 5. Langdon 4. Petracca 3. May 2. Brayshaw 1. Melksham
  8. Flogging Collingwood is as good as it gets. I'm absolutely stoked!
  9. Collingwood have always been my favorite team to beat. Our prime mids have been in top form, and if they maintain it today, then we win, and it'll be a great day ......... simple as that!
  10. Very enjoyable guys. Thanks.
  11. Buggered if I know. I can't even figure out when the round started or when it ends!
  12. 6. Oliver 5. May 4. Viney 3. Lever 2. Petracca 1. Jackson
  13. I know we are the better team, but after last week, how can I trust them?
  14. 6. Hibberd 5. Lockhart 4. Lever 3. Gawn 2. May 1. Petracca As evidenced by my votes, I reckon our defense stood up reasonably well, given the speed and frequency that the ball was coming in.
  15. 'gutted' and 'ashamed' are the first polite words that come to my mind.
  16. 6. Viney 5. May 4. Lever 3. Oliver 2. Petracca 1. Langdon
  17. Take a tipple from my special cognac for the second week in a row. It's been a while since that happened.
  18. Jonesy in for Vanders sits very comfortably with me, especially given the expected wet track.
  19. Thanks for the 'heads up' goodwindees.
  20. Or Bennell rested, but only if it's part of his 'management' program.
  21. 6. Gawn 5. Petracca 4. Viney 3. Oliver 2. Langdon 1. Weid Carbon copy of BBO which has me a bit worried (lol). You could probably nominate another six players who could have earned votes. It's been a long time coming, but how good is it when it's hard to determine vote winners for all the right reasons?
  22. I reserve a special cognac for after a great win. Currently enjoying my first taste since 2018. Delicious!
  23. You underestimate Clarkson's experience and wyliness at your peril, but we have youth and talent, and (to a degree) form on our side. I have high hopes that we 'crossed the Rubicon' last weekend, and that the confidence and self-belief gained from that win will stand us in good stead today.
  24. ........ so 11 changes to the 22 (50%) who fronted up for us last night.
