CASEY: Elimination Final vs Williamstown
Hopefully the new CEO will get his priorities right. Comms needs to be one of them, given that we members are the ‘lifeblood’ of the Club.

PODCAST: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Another huge thanks to the Podcast team of Andy, Binman and George. Throughout this season of ‘on field’ disappointments, I’ve looked forward each and every week, to your very balanced discussion and analysis of the team we all love. You never fail to deliver!! Being an interstate Melbourne Member of around 50 years, Demonland and the Pods are my primary insight into everything MFC. Great work guys! You can be assured that your hard work throughout the year is greatly recognised and valued by this supporter, and I’m sure, by many, many more. Thanks again and Go Dees! ❤️💙

2025 All Australian
I reckon the selectors were ‘spot on’ with Max and Koz, who should both be wearing a new blazer on Thursday night. Bowser very unlucky not to make the squad after a fantastic season. He just continues to fly under the radar.

Jake Melksham & Tom McDonald Sign On For 2026
I’m more than happy with these decisions. The ‘on field’ contributions of players have been great this year, and I have little doubt that they are strong ‘off field’ contributors as well. They’ve earned their opportunities. Further, their experience going forward will be invaluable for both our younger players, and the new coaching team, regardless of whether they are playing with the big boys, or at Casey.

Outstanding interview. Maybe I’m gullible, but it fills me with confidence! ❤️💙

GAMEDAY: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
I had a dream last night. The bits that I remember most vividly are: we came to play, and put in a 4 quarter effort; we shut their crowd up from the get go; and had them filing towards the exits at 3/4 time. I also believe in miracles ❤️💙

PODCAST: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Thanks for another quality episode guys! I greatly admire your dedication and persistence during these tough times, and like you, I look forward to our beloved Dees turning the corner in 2026. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!

VOTES: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Gawn - by a ‘country mile’. What size AA blazer does he take? Salem - got a fair bit of ball, and mostly used it to advantage. Rivers - showed some dash, particularly in the second half. A sign for the future? Petty - very good work rate, and kicked a couple. Bowey - solid, but has set a high standard for himself. Oliver - worked hard.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
Well, I’m really looking forward to our AFLW game which commences shortly.

POSTGAME: Rd 23 vs Hawthorn
That effort was an embarrassment to our famous colours. I want to swear, but it’s not permitted. Grrrr! is the best I can do!

What's Collingwood ever done for Melbourne?
They very generously packaged Mark Neild up in a lovely set of words, and sent him our way.

What's Collingwood ever done for Melbourne?
When the AFL first began fixturing the QB (now KB) game on the Public Holiday Monday in June 2001, the AFL and C’wood agreed that it should be regarded as Melbourne home game, with us to receive the associated gate receipts. In 2018, when we were becoming more competitive as a team, C’wood reneged on that agreement, and the Home Ground revenue for QB/KB fixture has since rotated between the two Clubs. So for a time they did give us something of value, but subsequently demanded it back. Bloody ‘indian givers’! Thanks Eddie 🤮!

PODCAST: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Thanks Andy and bin for another fantastic pod. I particularly loved the discussion about our coaching situation. There will be burning interest surrounding things MFC over the coming months. It was brilliant to learn that Andy has such profound influence over such things ……… 😄😄 ❤️💙
