Welcome to pre season ‘26. Huge thanks to all track watchers and to those who provided comments. I’ve been a fervent (interstate) Demonlander for a long time, but I’m sure I’ve never given more plaudits in a thread than I have to this one, except perhaps to a few in September 2021. Great work all!

I particularly loved the new format; Binny’s optimism (he’s clearly on the same page as me); and the discussion of the skyrocketing improvement in the quality of the AFLW competition and players. I enjoyed the pod so much that I listened twice! PS. I’m delighted that @binman survived his exit interview, and has nailed a starting position on the list for ‘26.

Well I like CJ’s selection. Speed, courage, athleticism, takes the game on, breaks lines …….. matches what we know of Kingy’s game plan perfectly! Okay, there will be some turnovers, but the pros considerably outweigh the cons imo.

Thanks for the memories Tracc. They are great, and never to be forgotten in MFC circles. I would have preferred to snare Humphrey, but three first rounders is a pretty good deal for the Dees. It’s now up to Jason Taylor to convert these picks into something special .

I’m really sad to see Clarrie depart in this way, but his ‘issues’ (in spite of enormous support from the Club), had clearly become untenable. I’m pleased that the new regime at our Club ‘bit the bullet’ on this one, but I’m equally hopeful that Clarrie finds his way at GWS, and in his future more generally.
