OPPOSITION WATCH: Rd 1 vs West Coast
"Will Schofield says the Eagles are prepared to face Melbourne without a crowd to cheer them on" Of course he's gonna say that to the media ........... in the full knowledge that he and his team mates are already making a disproportionate contribution to the national shortage of toilet paper.

New Irish Dees Stynes Connection
Agree. Category B Rookie, with plenty of time to develop. Is there another Jimmy or Sean waiting to be recruited from the Emerald Isles?

AFLW: Rd 6 vs Carlton
A game of two halves (as they all are, but you know what I mean). We ran out of players, and (consequently) legs in the second half. Four, and possibly five ACLs in a season is just [censored] luck, no matter how you spell it !

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - LUKE JACKSON
Every Demon would have to love LJ, and the promise, hope and excitement that his untapped potential brings. One thing that sticks in my mind is a comment made by Jason Taylor in 'To Hell & Back' that his improvement in the last 6 months has been 'dramatic'. I have a gut feeling that he will maintain that trajectory.

POSTGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
I agree with this deanox. Kossie adds a completely different dimension. I thought during the game that he would have been a handy ground level addition when the ball was bombed forward. Might have snagged a couple, I reckon.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
I thought the knock on Tomlinson was that he doesn't get enough of the ball. Wow! 32 isn't too shabby.

POSTGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
A lot to like ....... a bit to work on ....... headaches for the Match Committee. I like it a lot!

Demonland Banner 2020
It looks like a Premiership banner to me!
-
AFLW: Rd 5 vs West Coast
Our run of AFLW injuries is akin to what our men have endured in recent years. Four ACLs is totally crap!
-
TEAMS: MS02 vs Hawthorn
No Salem adds to the intrigue about his 'no show' at training on Tuesday. Any insights?

PREGAME: MS02 vs Hawthorn
With this being the last full team hit-out against serious opposition before R1, I'm hoping to get some good insights into our probable R1 team, and a game plan that reflects the way we want to play in 2020. I already have a touch of nervous anticipation. Hope I'm not disappointed, and of course, no injuries please.

TRAINING: Tuesday 3rd March 2020
Yep, fantastic photos! Of course, you often just see what you want to see in these things, but it looks to me like the boys are relishing the hard work and camaraderie, ...................... but the absolute stand-out shots for me are a couple towards the middle, which highlight what seems to be a great rapport between Max and Harley. What a great captain and mentor Max will be for Harley.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Love this quote from the article: "AFL.com.au understands he privately passed other tests in recent weeks, including sprints away from the club's main training oval at Gosch's Paddock."

TRAINING: Tuesday 3rd March 2020
Huge thanks to our track reporters ........ greatly appreciated by all Demonlanders, and even more so when they deliver [mostly] good news! ?

Herald Sun 2020 Predictions
My bold prediction is that by the mid-season break it will be 14/ 5

New Role for Harmes
You need to add Viney to the mix of inside mids TJ6. I expect that's the reason that Harmes is being tried at HB. I reckon he has the attributes to make a decent fist of it, but obviously, only time will tell.

To Hell & Back Episode 4
It's 'every which way' Chook.

To Hell & Back Episode 4
Geez, the Harley bit got me again! Bleary eyed right now! A 70+ year supporter, and I've never loved this Club more. I'm sure the red wine is contributing, but I'm so excited for this season. Go Dees

To Hell & Back Episode 4
According to the Preview, this will be the penultimate episode of a 5 part series.

To Hell & Back Episode 4
This series is probably the best stuff that our Media people have ever produced. The Preview is tantalizing .... just as it should be!

Jayden Hunt
Absolutely! I'd forgotten how valuable he can be when he's 'on song'. His dash and line breaking abilities are great assets, but there's limited opportunity to use them playing out of the forward pocket. I suspect that he's being 'squeezed out' of our best 22 because he hasn't yet found a position to call his own. His confidence is consequently down, and he's unsure of himself right now. I hope he gets it back, because at his best, he can be a 'point of difference' player.

AFLW: Round 4 vs Collingwood
Well we maintained the pressure and won well. I'm back to being happy and proud rather than bitterly disappointed!
-
AFLW: Round 4 vs Collingwood
Much better than last week so far. Just maintain this level of pressure for the second half and we win.
-
POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
He played and was solid. Kicked one and missed a couple that he would normally kick. Dropped a couple of speccies. Happy with his game.

POSTGAME: PM02 vs Kangaroos
Spargo, Lockhart, C.Wagner pressing their claims. Our forward half pressure was fantastic to see.
