A bit off topic but I'm not sure you drop him based on one really poor game. Remember he played his best career game the week before v Geelong.

I wouldn't mind Mitch Robinson and Brock McLean as steak knives for Watts. But I really want Watts to stay.

Fare dinkum is Jamar ever not injured.

My 3 word player analysis V Brisbane
Bring-Back-Powell replied to joeboy's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think "failed" is the wrong choice of word for someone who got 27 touches. Not saying he had a fantastic game, but he surely would've got a 5/10 - and thus a pass. -
I'm going to keep giving him excuses until the end of the season, due to his injury in pre-season.However if he's still not making an impact next year, then the heat and scrutiny must be applied to him.

MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION

Fair comment.Apart from a couple of soft efforts, Pederson hasn't been all that bad when in the team. Has some talent and accumulates ball. I think Pederson can and will be a better afl player than Dunn. -
MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION

Is it just me or is anyone else happy Moloney's missing? Don't think I could handle another BOG in the same year. -
If Adelaide and Hawthorn got absolutely nothing for losing Chris Knights to Richmond and Tom Murphy to Gold Coast, I can't imagine we'd get anything better than a half eaten ham sandwich for Sylvia.

I reckon Matt Jones has been a reasonable recruit. -
Mark Stevens seemed confident we'll get Roos, on Ch 7's game day

Can you just rock up tomo @ Kardinia Park?

Just leaving Pakenham now to catch 2 vline trains. I like to think that's dedication! -
I wouldn't be surprised if he they ease him into in next year. 10-11 games in the seniors, 3 weeks rest and another 6 for Casey.
-
Or that maybe there will be a presser today for jones.

I'm surprised they didn't bring back Gillies for some local knowledge ... Seriously, if Frawley gets through, this would be just about our best team for the year. Add Viney in next week and maybe swap McKenzie and Nicholson and we almost have our best 22 v Brisbane next week.

If Mitch Clark was guaranteed an injury free career going foward, you might slightly entertain the thought of trading Dawes (assuming Fitzpatrick turns out to be a gun), as we badly need a midfielder. But that isn't case at the moment. I think we're going to have to go down the free agency or state league route for a midfielder. I can't see us trading for one, unless we put pick 2 or 3 on the table. If Frawley said to the club that he wants to leave at the end of 2014, then I'd trade him this year for a gun midfielder. Clubs would be lining up for his services.

Anyone interested in getting Austin Wonnamerri down for a pre season?

Beamer shows a bit of class....

Moloney out injured with a calf and could miss 2-3 weeks. I don't know about you but I'd be delighted if he missed the Darwin game in 2 weeks' time. I couldn't handle him getting two BOG's in the same year against us. -
Realistically where I see the playing list

So Trengove will be retiring or getting delisted at age 26 or 27? He's already played 70 games. -
Move Sylvia on while he has currency
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
I'd argue he's less of a priority to re-sign than Frawley and Watts, but I hope he stays. -
Wanted - midfielders. Apply within.

St Kilda would've beaten us by 12 goals and bulldogs would've beaten us by 8 goals under Neeld.

Jesse Hogan Highlights.

I can't contain myself. Loved the bit in the telecast when Rhys Jones compared him to W Carey. The question is did we do the right thing by picking him up in the mini draft at the expense of pick 3 and potentially Ollie Wines? -
I always thought you were safe when you were 40 points or more up at 3 quarter time.
-
At the moment you'd re-sign Rodan and delist Byrnes.
