WERRIDEE’S Rolling Squads
Howes is a more flexible choice as defender ( plays on smalls and talls) but AMW could also be sub and play back or forward also.

Trac’s Pep Talk & Belief in Dees Resurgence
Really DD and you stated you can’t understand my posts!!! Have a relook at yours about a flag in 2016? One of the most bizarre claims from left field I have ever read. we were better than in 2013/4 but a flag!!!! We had just started our rise back gathering some new players but nowhere near ready for that. One for the “I really don’t know what I was thinking file “. A post of staggering reflection and fantasy. Perhaps our win over the Hawks gave you this misconception!!!

You must be watching the wrong player. Part of the Dukes success and style last year was his ability to accelerate out of traffic and deliver to other players. Watch the goal vs Port where he ran around opposition and kicked a match winning goal. Thats what separates him from others is his break away skill even in traffic. There were plenty of times he was in heavy traffic and he had very little trouble in getting a quality disposal for our advantage. With extra weight on the year he will be even more equipped and ready for breakaways. Whether in the centre of the ground or elsewhere he is primed and ready to continue and improve and also I hardly recall any times that he was. Caught holding the ball at all last season. Let the Duke run free and create his magic!!

That’s what I am saying why the wing for Trac. Don’t write a statement that is open if you don’t wish to be questioned? Say except for Trac if you mean it. What a waste of a player in any case I agree with the others but not Trac.!!

Really probably your best mid forward and second best forward liable to kick goals and you would waste him on a wing!! That’s what I call stupid plus dumb plus match losing!! Now really give Trac something to complain about !!!

Same difference not fit enough too much goes wrong How could you be certain of selecting him for a GF on Thursday and he be crook sick injured or any other malaise that is around to keep him pout if playing? Seriously he should go round in a bubble. Get him to go in I am a celebrity get me out of here and do all the eating weird trials to acclimatise to real life. OR Survivor for toughening up his body and attitude. Over to you Ghostwriter what excuse have you got this time?

Simon Goodwin Herald Sun Interview.
Playing Spargs in Round1 was one of the poorer match Committee decisions to match some of the Sub decisions of 2023. He was not match fit at best and not fully recovered from injury at worst. Self inflicted injury to match the Practice Match one of the year before of Joel Smith. Even now we don’t have any real timeline for Spargs and the longer he is out the nearer he is going to be struggling to recover and rescue his career. Brutal layman’s assessment but we have seen things like this in footy that are real and the slower they go the more predictable they become. Footy does not wait long for the player with prolonged injury. I hope not in this case. Charlie has been nothing but a team man since 2018 and hopefully can overcome this set back and once again play AFL

Rubbish he didn’t flinch once last year. I think he is of a wiry ( tuck but more bulked) variety. Let them try and tackle or catch him. Swans Gulden and Warner are not musclemen and they break lines and kick goals. It’s the speed and skill of which is the Duke’s no 1 wood. Get him in where the action is and to play a starring role in our redemption. ( Another little gem for you Dazzle hope it’s not too complicated for you to understand ).

No one you would have to admit is less a tank runner than Ed. Whether the close in and strength to get free options on occasions is realistic time will tell. I know who would get free and that’s Windsor that’s why I want him in the centre for bounces and scrimmages. Like Kossie he could extricate himself. Also run freely through the middle with licence to bounce the ball then deliver. ( Do you understand now why I want The Duke in the centre Dazzle? To say that you can’t understand my posts now makes me not value your comments and judgement. Very simple explanations I would have thought. ) My back points need addressing if you are a little bit not in the know.

Trade Targets
Oh Grundy well it wasn’t the forward ruck that we required. He can play but maybe is just past his best. Looked fairly average on that one day in September against medium to poor quality IMO.
