Fritsch’s game before the final was a hit bout after weeks on the side. It wasn’t meaningless it secured a double chance for us. I agree with most of the others and thank you for your efforts. Goody has been responsible I reckon on at least a couple of occasions.

There were texts about both and since when has Kossie known he was in the Ind Stars side not till relatively recently. Surely some are out bounds and little stoppage of some would not be out of order. Who is running this show ? Us MFC and not Kossie. I Tjink he is old enough to know what not to text and respect the other players and MFC people and fans.

He is still learning and developing has hardly played 10 games as a forward and you want to axe him. Be patient he will succeed .

Wingers that mark are valuable but wingers that run and create and defend at the same time with pace are game changers and match winners. Thats why Lingers is a success and valuable for 5 years plus and The Duke has shown such potential for greater roles like mid and centre for us, That’s exactly why Tommo never made a winger. Too slow You don’t just place a half back with no pace and try to make him a winger. . He might be like Mitchell one paced but skills and a sharp step out of trouble in traffic. The plus if Culley is a hit that one of the other mids might perhaps bolster the forward line and be a match winner there. Say Kossie Trac or Riv.can still be a half back at times.

Yes thst’s not bad thinking I think AMW should be a HFFlanker now that most have dried up for differing reasons and timelines, Kossie ( when available ) should be positioned there often as we need him to be thst X factor forward.

We have money but it is not all going to the Caulfied project. We have not started our fundraising yet so give it time until the project is finalised in concept and approved. Keeping the cart before the horse do to speak is our method.

If we get Culley perhaps Kossie can spend more time up forward. More ways to skin Cats readily available.

So your defending DD makes you look equally as off the mark. DD made some comments about not understanding some of my comments which after this one is a bit rich. My comments on the Duke for the centre position have been constant clear of purpose and all pre season if DD can’t understand them he is showing his lack of footy knowledge. There is a feeling in D/L that some posters are above being challenged well I don’t differentiate and GW and DD deserve challenging when they need to be outed. So do I on occasions need to be outed but get it right. not just blindly attack with incorrect information.

After saying so many times before please quote these and inform us of your opinion. Dont generalise back up with facts. Awaiting your response.

I am not happy and only in certain cases to advise on info that is readily available these days on the logical and well informed social media or selected Club or eg AFL websites. we should be looking up our Club website just as much or more than D/L. For the latest info. D/L is usually served by Andy or WJ informing us but alternatively too much is provided in details which are not necessarily completely correct or opinion based to rely on. On the other hand some others in D/L have a wonderful knowledge of facts inside info and very helpful advice no doubt and can generally be relied upon. But I still think the starting point is the Club Website for credibility reliability and accuracy. Opinions are added in our posts and this is where the info sometimes gets clouded due to this fact. So I encourage an ability to source the info from appropriate forums but enjoy our different topics and posts on DL and contribute accordingly.

Players don’t normally Force moves they ask ! And Kossie is only in his second year of a 4 year contract. Melb does not have to jump at Kossies request like they refused Harry Petty and he resigned a year later. I am not sure of your Goodwin/ Kossie relationship being any tighter than many others to say that he only stayed because of that. Unless of course you have insider knowledge to this fact. It will play out over this season but to be honest I am sick of it already and wish it was a closed matter till after the end of The season and trade time,

You are forgetting the two match practices which I feel will have more weight than an intra club hit out. AJ Pup Brown Laurie and Jefferson plus possibly Hore all deserve further opportunities to further make their case,

Howes is a more flexible choice as defender ( plays on smalls and talls) but AMW could also be sub and play back or forward also.

You must be watching the wrong player. Part of the Dukes success and style last year was his ability to accelerate out of traffic and deliver to other players. Watch the goal vs Port where he ran around opposition and kicked a match winning goal. Thats what separates him from others is his break away skill even in traffic. There were plenty of times he was in heavy traffic and he had very little trouble in getting a quality disposal for our advantage. With extra weight on the year he will be even more equipped and ready for breakaways. Whether in the centre of the ground or elsewhere he is primed and ready to continue and improve and also I hardly recall any times that he was. Caught holding the ball at all last season. Let the Duke run free and create his magic!!
